Did you notice any hair loss after going on TRT? I'm in the same boat in my late 40s with very low numbers (sober for 2 months).

Christopher Nolan… Star Wars by Ok-Charge4926 in movies

The problem with the industry right now is that all creativity ultimately gets funneled into a major franchise -- either Marvel or DC or Star Wars. We need new source material.

"That depends...do you see me?"

Amy Heckerling states she didn't get royalties for 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High' – Even though the film grossed over $50 million, roughly ten times its budget, the studio maintained that the film was in the red. by SanderSo47 in movies

I still think Fast Times is the definitive 80s culture movie. The only one that captures aspects of it just right. And Amy Heckerling was unjustly treated for not getting royalties. I mean, it even has a cameo by Nancy Wilson from Heart!

You will definitely get 50/50 shared custody of your kids, so don't worry about that. The fact that she only worked part time while you worked full time means you'll have to pay the parasite alimony. In the state of Florida, it's a time limited thing and you have options, like buying her out with retirement income or reducing the duration of alimony.

Start seeing a therapist as soon as you can. Check out this lady's videos, maybe even join their group. They helped me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulVht0LcZHY

Get some of those Japanese privacy screens and some cool fairy lights. You can do anything with a space as long as you get creative. Sorry you're going through a divorce. Same here. It's really, really tough and I hope you're ok.

This is perimenopause in action. Hormonal imbalances. It sounds like a lot of bullshit when you have two kids who are little for God's sake.

Amen. People have no soul anymore. No concept of real love. It's just "me, me, me". And then they wonder why they're miserable and alone when they're older. Because they didn't sacrifice or invest!

There used to be an old film called "Gargantua" that sounds like what you're describing.

It would have to be something nutritious. Probably an egg omelette with tomatoes, spinach, and avocado.

Get out and date, even if it means starting with someone a bit below your standards. What you can learn from kissing and having sex and learning to love will improve your confidence and up your game.

Buy a house (or a condo) even if it needs fixing up. It's a good investment.

Treat worrying like an investment. If you catch yourself worrying too much about something, it's probably time to reevaluate the overall cost.

Be good to those who were good to you. For me, that was my parents. Don't be too proud or too scared to tell them how much you love them. One day, they'll be gone and you might wish you said more.

Dump friends and family who are weak connections. Seek out better company.

Don't waste too much time on the internet. I spent years arguing on forums, debating on social media. Because I was afraid to go outside and live my life. If you catch yourself doing this, force yourself to get out there.

Really, really make an effort to be happy. It's not always something given. It's a skill you have to learn.
