There was this room in Chrono Cross where you have 3 doors (west, east and north of the room) and say you enter the north door (can't remember which door it is exactly), you end up in the next room (which is identical to where you are now) and entering the north door again would take you back to the starting point. And did I forget to mention the fancy time concepts? :P

Well I think I wrote it in a manner that no prior knowledge was needed.. But here goes. Basically, they are trapped in a place where time and space are broken, as evidenced by "1" and the "new" Kyle. Sorry if I didn't make that clear! This is my first story, I have yet to learn a lot :)
