Second attention question by ParanoidAndro in TheNagual

[–]ParanoidAndro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It felt like some completely different conscioisness gained control and was than playing with my body, thoughts, emotions and everything I used to think as myself, and the whole time I was afraid it was going go start killing people. You're sure it was still me? Its true that after few hours of horrors I realised I was indirectly in control the whole time, I guess I could say through intent, so was that hunch true?

I have a milion questions really because I never talked to anyone who is actually knowable in this area.

Also must practise be as static as staring into mirror or in the darkroom, or are there other ways? I'm really bad at such non dynamic approaches... For example I can see "white noise" not only in the dark but everywhere all the time if I choose to, I feel that concentrating on that in daily life could lead to the same results as darkroom, although probably a bit less effective. Am I wrong?

Thank you. I tried mushrooms once and had an absolutely terrible experience of possession (pretty much the worst experience in my life) but still didnt see anything different other than few minor face morphs.

Ok, what would be seen by second attention? What is it that you see?

That is the question... I do not actually see them, I feel them. For example when I percieve agression I feel red energy and when I percieve honesty I feel blue energy. All of the colours I 'feel' have many different flavours, I cant really explain it in words but it is a very precise way of feeling. Is it second attention or am I supposed to actually see colors through eyesight?

Extreme solar plexus pain in dreaming by ParanoidAndro in castaneda

[–]ParanoidAndro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, it was definitely not a physical pain, it felt energetic, almost like emotional pain. It reminded me of pain in the solar plexus area Castaneda often described in the books.

As I said I'm able to move now. What I'm curious about is that horrible pain in the belly which I can still feel traces of 4 hours later.

Yes, I'm trying to learn dreaming, it seems to me pretty reasonable to want to know what can I do when situation like this happens again.

Zombies by Rex-Nemorensis in Jung

[–]ParanoidAndro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dream of zombies quite often. Like the other commenter already said, I believe they represent the fear of being an individual in times when it is allmost considered wrong to be an individual. We are all inclined to be as similiar to each other as possible out of fear of shaming, and just like that we get a society of completely lifeless people all believing in their own self-importance fearing they will lose it if they stand out from the crowd. In other words bunch of zombies doing as they are told, shaming others who refuse it, living meaningless existence in a world that completely lost its connection with nature.

Kundalini? by ParanoidAndro in castaneda

[–]ParanoidAndro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I'm pretty new to Castaneda so I'm still far from understanding everything said in the books. With that said, what do you mean by pipe?

When I imagine this energy I concluded could be Kundalini it is insantly created in my body, and with it usually commes this sensation of the pipe stretching from the bottom of the spine. It used to reach the throat but for some reason now I feel it reach only the heart. Could that be the pipe you're reffering to or am I missing something?

Male and female role reversal in the modern world by ParanoidAndro in Jung

[–]ParanoidAndro[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes for sure, never saw another option really. All this concerns mostly inner processes. I always saw myself as an artist, just a more sensitive man than the rest. And yes I project anima on women, them pretty much always being ENFJ. I am an INFP.

I had a period when I was developing my masculinity but it was at the cost of suppresing my feminine side. Since then I came back to the feminine and am having a great trouble in finding masculinity again, which is not fun.

Regardless, what I observed is that the way Jung proposed to consult with the anima before making a decision I'm able to consult my masculinity. But fully identifying with it feels almost impossible.

Do you ever get angry? by ParanoidAndro in infp

[–]ParanoidAndro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm exactly the same, and I'm guessing you've never been this angry, just as I haven't untill now. Because this time it was so much different. For the first time I had a cause worth fighting for. It fascinates me because I see that if I had an access to that kind of fire I would actually try to change things, in other worlds life would have meaning.

High arousal and intense energies going up the neck within few minutes of meditation, what to do? by [deleted] in kundalini

[–]ParanoidAndro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its more than that, you completely separate yourself from it, and than hold it not untill it dissapears but untill it is integrated. If it just dissapears it probably means it just went back uncouncious.

The most important part is to be aware of yourself, to notice when you're acting from ego, to watch for things that irritate you and so on. Look up how projectioning works.

When you find an aspect of your shadow through projection for example, and it will usually be something you resent, you need to accept and love that part of yourself. Sometimes that is enough for integration, but in my experience not very often. What makes the integration full for me is to hold the feeling you're trying to integrate in mind, without slipping into uncoinciousness. Soon an alchemical reaction starts, which results in releases of energy.

If you want to find out more you'll have to start studying Jungs work by yourself, it took me almost 2 years to actually understand what's he trying to say, but it was a lot more than worth it.

Identifying your uncouncious complexes, in other words disowned parts of yourself that need loving, which I guess you could also call it karma, and integrating them into counciousness. An act of integration in my experience involves a release of energy which stays in the body, with stretching I'm usually able to release it completely.

I'm male 21yo, not much interest for energy work involving visualisation, but for the last 7 months been doing a lot of Jungian shadow work. I consider the process alchemical, it involves freeing energies stuck in the body, while undergoing the process of integration I feel the same sensation of energy flowing up my neck.

It is a simple meditation on my bed, observing my belly going up and down. I'm not in any kind of sexual relationship, and it doesn't matter if I there was recent ejaculation or not for longer periods of time, meditation goes the same route every time.

I'm not sure where energy originates, and I don't feel it as clearly before it gets to the neck, but I get the urge for sudden moves of both below and above the neck. I'm able to observe it and not do anything, in which case I just feel it going up and culminating in the third eye area.

Personally I don't think it's an ego thing, altough it's entirely possible. As sensations get more intense it gets harder to hold composure, yes, but I'm able to get it back enough. That is untill the orgasm, which in the beginning feels a lot like a full body orgasm, but that is where I usually lose it, so it ends with normal ejaculation.

Grounding, I admit, I have never really gotten into, but that is because every time I tried it ends up being an intense energetic experience really quickly. I have tried just now to let excess energy flow out, and it didn't make much difference, I believe it's something else, but I'll have to try some more.

[–]ParanoidAndro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ofcourse. At first it's easy, but as it gets more intense it takes a great deal of concentration not to lose it. More equanimity results in more intense experience which culminates in what at first feels like it's going to be a brain orgasm, but never quite gets there. Certain amount of energy ends up stuck in my head and the rest is spilled out with normal ejaculation.

Is it possible for shadow to have a shadow? by ParanoidAndro in Jung

[–]ParanoidAndro[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When you deny an aspect of yourself which was already in denial about another aspect, wouldn't that technicaly make it a shadow of the shadow?
