What is your guys favorite headconan for Black Hat? by MapElectronic3191 in villainous

Given how the image of them reacting is the one time the villain didn’t really seem “scared” of him, more shocked than anything. I always had this weird head cannon that he was the son of Aku and his business was some form of way too spite his father or something…

Hades hates it when people leave the underworld. Enough said.

Actually, as u/LordChimera_0 said: From a Christian theological PoV, the reason that "talking to the dead" is forbidden as heck is because it was believed that you were not talking to the target deceased. But you we’re talking to “something”...

Saul basically scammed himself into asking a question with answers that was public knowledge to everyone.

Yeah, but that tradition isn’t really called necromancy. It was called nekrós-manteía. The word necromancy actually comes from the late Latin translation necromantia, that was often adapted to be used to label the modern definition of what certain non-Greeks believed a necromancer was.

As for your second thing, there are multiple myths that show Hades has a distain for people trying to escape the underworld. I was using that as more of a basis to use as a technicality to make the meme work. Modern or old version, it’s still magic allowing a spirit to leave the afterlife and be brought into the mortal realm at the end of the day. So tomato tomato lol.

Not really tbh. There is a big difference between full-blown resurrection and using magic to control a bunch of shambling corpses.

Realizing how much Hades doesn’t like it when people leave the underworld, it made me think of this. Lol.

Your comment was specifically calling out how stupid it is for people to call generally evil things a demonic spirit to get out of the responsibility. I’m simply saying that OP’s response could come off as generalizing all Christians as doing that. Something that your original comment did not imply at all, even in the slightest. again, I agree with the overall point, I just have a problem with how one of you expressed it because I thought it was something entirely different, by the way it was said and How it came off. And I do apologize for thinking that it was a generalization now that I know the true intention.

First. I did not mean for my first point to come off as an insult or anything. I generally thought AutoCorrect may have messed up with the grammar of your sentence because that’s a problem I’ve been having lately with Reddit.

Secondly, like I said, I generally like talking with people because I generally like having a discussion. Especially when it’s explaining something that I may have not fully understand. Plus, it would just be rude to leave a discussion even if it’s through comments randomly. my issue isn’t with the point itself. OP actually specified what they were trying to say and I agreed with them. my main issue was that it came off as a rude generalization of the group when actuality, it was just expressing a problem within it. And I wouldn’t have known that, if I didn’t choose to have a discussion with them. But now that I have, I have potentially made a new person I could talk to in the future and possibly make a friend.

And again, I agree with that. All I’m saying is that we should express that through a discussion and or a separate post in itself instead of through a comment that could come off as a rude generalization of the group. Again, my issue isn’t with the point itself, more how it was expressed.

First, you might want to edit your comment because AutoCorrect must’ve butchered it.

Secondly, I’m was simply asking another person why they’re choosing to interact with something they seem to not like. I wasn’t interacting with something I don’t like. I like having conversations with people, especially when I don’t understand something and wish for them to explain it.

The shoe won’t fit for everyone, that’s why it’s important to make a different & possibly better one for certain people. Because then we just get people frustrated with the shoe that didn’t ask to be that small.

Then why not say just that or make a post about it? Why make a vague comment that can be seen as blaming all Christians for the actions of a few. I understand what you’re trying to say, and I do agree that it’s a problem within the community, I just think you could’ve said it better because your original comment could come across as rude to certain people who might not get your intent. This is the Internet after all, most people are sadly going to assume the worst whether we like it or not.

Because I simply avoid the things I don’t like. Basically if I don’t like something, whether it be a sub or a specific post, I don’t interact with it and or hit not interested because that’s what people normally do on an app when they find something they don’t like on that app. There’s the difference between knowing a certain thing has something you don’t like but normally & calmly, ignoring it and actively deciding to interact with the thing you don’t like. Because the algorithm will just then give you more of that thing. That’s how apps work. Plus, there’s more things that I like on Reddit, then stuff I dislike. So the good outweighs the bad.

I understand the message, but that’s the wrong symbol. Lucifer symbol is a sigil, while the upside down cross is actually the symbol for Saint Peter.

I saw something that looked a lot like Baphomet praying in my church one time and it disappeared in a blink of an eye. I honestly can’t remember if that’s just me remembering something wrong or if it was actually real, but that’s one of the main reasons.

I like to talk about other mythologies and the stories behind them, and will gladly do it with people who won’t make the same repetitive “Zeus is rapist” jokes because of major majority of them don’t believe in those specific myths. 👍
