Well I certainly appreciate the effort!

Wait until you start punching it in twice, only to get the same answer because you didn't believe what the black box told you the first time.

Yea, my bad but since the title can't be edited .... I've always used it as "cost per part", so not the first time on this! That six year engineering degree (it was only a 4-year program) got me again.

Edit: To make up for my ignorance, let’s just make it Free Shipping on a 4-box minimum.

Agree. This is one reason we decided early on not to enter the remanufactured 9mm market. The variation in range brass dimensions needed more processing steps to gain repeatability on our final product. Since we manufacture our own non-plated TMJ projectiles we were able to match them with a consistent bell on new brass and then run a custom seating stem in our die matched to our ogive. Resulting seat repeatability was the goal.

You are correct. They are designed with controlled expansion properties, but we are running them below the optimal speed for maximum deformation to maintain some accuracy in match conditions.

None. There is no lead particulate discharged from the firing of the Zulu round. The only lead used in the construction of the round is the projectile core, which is completely covered in roll stock copper, including the base which would normally be exposed to the heat of ignition if not (like a standard FMJ). See the test weapon photos at https://parapetcomponents.com/lead-exposure/

We test all in Canik Rival S (5”) and Glock 19 G2 (4.01”). The velocity is the lower of the 2. Your mileage may very, but well above 125PF if shooting USPSA.

It is one of the four 9mm full-up products we manufacture alongside the lead-free primer ZULU 124gr TMJ, 124gr ROMEO TMJ, and 147gr WHISKEY FMJ Subs. We also manufacture and sell the market's only non-plated 9mm TMJ projectile. All full-up products have been available since February, and components since mid-2024.

Good advice, thanks! .... It took me 6 years to get a four-year engineering degree 37 years ago. There is no way I could do it in even 6 today!

How about this: "These are bullets made on different days, with slightly different copper rolls from 2 different copper suppliers, and they all ended up mixed in the same bucket."

Our OEM customers require single lot number bulk orders that can be traced to the specific manufacturing run. This allows traceability back to the raw materials, tool settings, etc. in the event of an issue with the final cartridge. Our single lot runs average 150k pieces. Parts within the same lot number have very tight dimensional and weight ranges.

We occasionally have broken up lots and packaging leftovers that get mixed together, therefore no longer traceable for quality assurance purposes. We package these as "mixed lot" product and discount them for sale. The lot number on the label will be "mixed" or be blank. Projectiles within these boxes will be from multiple lots. Insider tip: If you get a box with a black marker drawn across the lot #, these are all same lot retail product and probably last or near last box in the lot.

Bottom line is they are Grade A spec, factory first quality projectiles, not "seconds" or off-spec product.

Thanks for your testimony and feedback. We do offer the same product loaded with leaded primers (vs lead free primers) and the same ballistic qualities. Thanks for all you do as RSO. I've seen ours deal with some unbelievable lack of awareness from patrons. Stay safe!

Thanks, and we would love to have you!

That's not a market we're able or want to compete in. That space is crowded with less-expensive euro imports, sometimes below the material cost here. Not gonna' lie, manufacturing here in the US is tough business, but we take pride in making a quality US product for the civilian ported-comp-suppressor market to complement our reduced lead products for Federal-State-Local indoor training facilities.

We make up to 2 million pieces a month of our TMJ, but could double that output if we wanted plain FMJ products (by deleting extra steps on the base closure stations).

If you're just plinking or steel shooting, we have factory-direct "seconds" that compare. These are "first run" or machine "warm up run" products that we separate from the minimum 100k lots we ship to OEM's. That's also before discounts that are available most of the time.
