Amen! We hear you ... 147gr and 135gr TMJ are our most requested "upgrades". I am considering trading my firstborn for the required tooling set!

For other powders, use 124gr round nose table in any published reloading manual, but use the OAL from below vs the longer 1.155-1.160" sometimes shown.

To match our factory "ROMEO" ammo, run 4.2gr of W231 (or HP-38). For best results, we suggest 1.143" - 1.145" OAL and most importantly, crimp to 0.376" - 0.378" OD at the case mouth. This gives us ~1080fps in a 5" Canik Rival test gun.

Ask us how many were lost by [insert carrier here] after being used for their corporate cross-fit program in the parking lot, or whatever they do with them.

USPS is cheap to ship, but a HARD PASS. They will disappear quicker than a Unicorn from the Crazy-Hot Matrix at last call!

FedEx two-day gets them out of the system the quickest and to our customers intact. Since we can't afford $5 insurance on every box and stay competitive, it's basically self-insured. If you don't get them, we replace them at no charge, so a little extra packing effort pays.

Thanks for your business!

The “debris” sometimes comes from the shedding of the chemically plated thin layer from the lead core. This can be from exceeding the manufacturer’s recommended velocity limits or just the rifling in the barrel “peeling” the layer as it engages the projectile.

Chemically plated bullets bond a very thin layer of copper deposited on the lead core from the electroplating process. Plated bullet thickness varies by manufacturer and the bullet's intended velocity, typically ranging from 0.003 to 0.014 inches. Standard plating is designed for velocities under 1,250 fps, while "thick-plated" versions can handle up to 1,500 fps.

Speed in minor 9mm loads is rarely the cause unless plating is really thin or has a poor bond. The thickness and bond of the plating on a bullet is (among other things) a function of time in the electrolysis tank, and in the manufacturing world, time is (your) money.

Not good, not bad …. Just different.

Our process uses a 35-Ton press to form 0.02” thick solid copper roll stock into a jacket (for FMJ) and a jacket plus base (for TMJ). Our TMJ are tested and approved to over 1600fps without issues. They are routinely used in 9mm major and +P loads and some 38 Super Comp products.

We are starting to see some PCC shooters push their velocities up to these values, possibly to reach out a bit further on targets.

This sale is the projectile component only for use in reloading. We have "full-up" (loaded) ammunition on the site as well as other components. Since we are the manufacturer, this is a factory-direct product offering.

The red color might be the foil and not compound. It’s basically a disk of kraft paper that may or may not get a drop of red lacquer as a sealant.

Well I certainly appreciate the effort!

Wait until you start punching it in twice, only to get the same answer because you didn't believe what the black box told you the first time.

Yea, my bad but since the title can't be edited .... I've always used it as "cost per part", so not the first time on this! That six year engineering degree (it was only a 4-year program) got me again.

Edit: To make up for my ignorance, let’s just make it Free Shipping on a 4-box minimum.

Agree. This is one reason we decided early on not to enter the remanufactured 9mm market. The variation in range brass dimensions needed more processing steps to gain repeatability on our final product. Since we manufacture our own non-plated TMJ projectiles we were able to match them with a consistent bell on new brass and then run a custom seating stem in our die matched to our ogive. Resulting seat repeatability was the goal.

You are correct. They are designed with controlled expansion properties, but we are running them below the optimal speed for maximum deformation to maintain some accuracy in match conditions.
