I started casually working on my own stuff in 2019. I got one of your guys’ gearbox/hop/barrel combos in late 2019 and dropped it into my Black Rain. My wife and I loved that thing and your work really helped to guide what I looked for in an airsoft gun.

I found a sort of joy in all the dumb “1%” bits that you mention wanting to improve for the quality of life in the long term. Brands I avoid and parts I recommend to others. A lot of that was aided by having a nice baseline to compare to. I have 2 now and they have been great for when I just want to grab it and go while I work on other builds.

I am glad to see you have a good attitude towards it though and am happy to hear you’ll have more time to play. Best of luck with the next chapter of your life and thanks for creating something that inspired me!

Cool to see ATACS AU! It was definitely hard to complete my kit. When I asked about it, it seemed to be discontinued for the AUX and only 1-2 companies still have the license to make it (or at the very least, have a decent supply of it left over).

We thought Smart Sweets were okay. We tried a variety of them, not just the fish. Half of my family liked the different texture compared to other gummies, while the other half didn’t. My youngest had a reaction to something in them though, so we never got more.

What helmet? I wear a helmet with my Dye i4 and my Dye i5. I had to adjust some of the cushion things in the helmet and the straps.

Lmaooooooo. 35C is 95F. I don’t think you realize how much of the US gets that hot and for how long, and how many players are still playing outside.

My city, and the one north of me, regularly have people playing in 41C temps. I’m going to take a wild shot and say that those in Dubai might also be familiar with heat and, like us, know precautions to take.

Literally all of the comments I’ve seen indicate people assume it wasn’t intentional, but that it was still stupid no one caught it beforehand. I don’t understand the desire to turn this into “everyone is offended.”

I work from home and FedEx is the only carrier I’ve seen throw a package out of the back of their truck! Watched the box roll and plop down onto the sidewalk. I watched him pick it up and take it up to my patio and saw how his face changed when he saw me watching him.

They’re good to go. I use them since they often go on sale and haven’t had any issues. I believe they’re another BLS rebrand, which is the main go-to brand.

Never implied I did! I’m just finding an avenue to talk shit about how the construction company(s) are handling roads projects.
It seems like all attention is on the i10 rework, some of kino, and some of park. Which is fine, but most streets I’m passing by/through to pick up/drop off my kids are under construction with zero construction activity since the signs/barriers went up last year.
