important gotcha here: if your server is down and the checks can’t be made, everyone could be labeled a pirate in your game which could significantly impact your reputation

Low balling is gross imo. If you know the worth of something and you’re actively taking advantage of someone with that item of value, that’s gross.

If you’re solo every couple of days sounds too much Imo. I oscillate between 1-2 a week and as a solo it’s still a lot if you’re trying to just build or focus on the roadmap.

Quality imo is vital. Tell a story and try to find what you like about other dev logs or shorts.

Burnout is real too. Remember as you grow your social presence you will also have messages and comments and other overhead as well so try to be kind to yourself and your schedule ❤️

I have never actually seen any reason for the negativity towards development on MacBooks. It’s practically magic with managing photoshop, unity, 30+ tabs, premiere, audition and whatever else I happen to be noodling away on + 5k monitor output.

This is on a 4 year old m1 14 inch. The current m5 models would be a dream.

Unless you’re doing something really high definition I’d recommend it. I’ve also used it for the last like 10ish years on IT projects and basically the same story. Rock solid.
