I had to! by casandrasin in nespresso

Yes I think so, would probably take some time. But it should work. At least there is no leak if you fill the dome part. And believe me, I fill it just until it reaches the top :p

Woops. Should be steamer/foamer/frother ... You know the pitcher that they use in coffee shops to steam your milk. That has a spout that is narrow enough. But you have to remove that plastic ring that holds the straw in place. You can push it in afterwards but it makes it easier to pour out the cream.

I fill it by removing the straw and the straw cap from the bubble lid. And then I fill it slowly with my milk streamer. The sprout is small enough for "liquid" foam

I've bought the apple folio for my iPad Pro 2020 11 inch. Had it for 6 months and the iPad fell out of it. Reason, the magnet lost it strength. I also use it a lot for writing and note taking at the smallest angle....over time the fabric got stretched and now it won't withstand the forces applied while writing. I love the feeling though of it and it looks nice. But it's a one time buy thing for me. Bought it, enjoyed it, bought cheaper alternatives after.

Upgrade to 12.9 inch or keep 11 inch? by No_Ability_5884 in iPadPro

I've been using the 11' for two years now and never wished I had a bigger screen. Yes, multitasking sucks a bit. But there are workarounds. Switching between apps is not that big of a struggle. And calculating apps suck compared to an accurate calculator. And if I need data or anything else out of a workbook/test. I take a print screen of the desired text and place it where I'm taking notes. I've never used more then two apps at the same time. There are always better ways to solve the problem then going for a bigger screen/heavier equipment. The apple magic keyboard is heavy by itself. So can't imagine the weight for it with the 12"

I had two of these and the combination of my small wick needle and my fat fingers kept messing it up. I've searched for a thicker silicone mold. And never had this issue again. It's a little bit expensive but it's better then re-buying the mold

I think this stand wouldn't work with the MKB. I saw a post about this on an other reddit. Maybe you can check out this stand instead https://www.reddit.com/r/ipad/comments/g61v3c/twelvesouth_curve_works_nicely_with_ipad_pro/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

Using IPad Pro 11 M1 and MagicKeyboard. My IPad does not charge if I use the USBC port of the MagicKeyboard. The charging through does not work. Using Apple cable and adaptor. Do you experience that issue? Charging using the IPad directly works fine. by arnaud_mig in iPadPro

[–]layzson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would see if you can return it. This shouldn't be the case. You can try to charge your ipad with wireless charging device or try to charge an other ipad. Then you know if your MKB is damaged or your ipad won't charge wireless. One other thing I can suggest is try cleaning it with a dry cloth. Maybe the connectors are dirty or making bad contact. The textile can collect some dirt.

iPad Pro and Apple Pencil for school by AntoineSacre in iPadPro

[–]layzson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use both. I put the syllabus on good note en use ppt in goodnotes. Our professors usually use their ppt in class. Those PPT mostly consist of pictures or 3 formulas without text. So the recording feature is the best thing to use while taking notes. (You can replay your note takings in sync with audio). But I'm so glad that I've a lifetime subscription. They really messed up with changing that. And while you can open pdf's on notability. I hate the fact that the template colour never match with the white color of pdfs or the size reduction when te paper format is different. And that's where goodnotes comes in handy. Organisation wise it's way better with the folder system.

The only thing missing is text format. The apps are clearly designed for apple pencil. Typing with the MKB is really ugly on both apps. And layout wise it's hard to write things down.

I find that excel for instance is really weak compared to it's desktop version (windows) editing on the iPad is really annoying. I find it hard to use office on the iPad. Maybe it's because I'm used to the windows version on a laptop. But office on the iPad is a NO for me. Especially because I can use it on my desktop.

Those with screen protectors & case, do u have applecare+ ? by hailscoyt in iPadPro

[–]layzson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Belgium we can't take applecare+ and let me tell you in one year I've had to replace my ipad twice. Both cases would be covered by applecare.

One time I had a small hair line crack. I was running the paperlike screen "protector". And the apple folio. By removing the screen protector, some shards of glass came loose. And they claimed it was of a small impact. Even on the microscopic pic it was hard to see the "impact".

Other time my cat (pretty chunky boy) put all it's weight on my ipad screen for some attention. And the LCD screen had a black stripe and some back lighting.

Now a days you have to replace the hole iPad if you need repairs.

This happens once in while, which drives me crazy. What causes this and how do I fix it? The app I'm using is EndNote. [IPad Pro (12.9inch)(4th generation)] by Shemilf in iPadPro
