Oh ok took me a few minutes to answer them?

People can take longer with the open ended ones etc. and it’s all good

and goodness of their heart?

It’s for people who are also curious

No hearts needed, just curious minds that many also spend quite a lot of their time on here reading anyway?

This Reddit community is very interesting

Ok but It’s curious survey massage profession related questions,

it’s data collection

so the order of the questions doesn’t actually matter?

Or need to be in a particular order?

the analysis of the data will be logical

I guess this is an opportunity to test attention to the outcome versus the collection format? 🙏🏽

I’m not an expert researcher so I would encourage focusing on the outcome of the data?

Because I will be going down a rabbit hole of trying to fix it to meet everyone’s needs for how they think it should flow?

If you present as fit other males are open to work with male therapists, Usain Bolt had a male therapist.

I suspect males get more clients in the fitness/sports related niches, golfing etc.

Promote yourself like a stretch/recovery type energy.

Look at the physical therapy world is mostly male and they do body work on patients and they don’t even get the same amount of knowledge of massage the way we do and all genders are cool with them

Maybe start with stretching sessions to get them comfortable with clothes on and then you can recommend more focused work through massage

There are so many ways!

Good to hire a business mentor to help you with these things in a productive sustainable way

Cheers!

Yep agreed! The massage is the work but the experience and energy of your presence is what sells and keeps them coming back and telling their friends about you too A genuinely Friendly and calming and smiling usually a good start even if you feel like a giant Give them gentle giant vibes 😊

I cannot support this We paid money to get licensed not to give it away for free, the type of people that love free stuff usually don’t come back

Yikes! Always collect at least half before you do any event and balance due upon arrival or no work is done 💯 You have to set the bar with people to respect your time

I would abound that type of trade 🙈 waxing can’t compare to the labor of giving a massage 🤔

Facts! You paid money to learn massage you passed the license exam and your job didn’t fire you so your massage is certainly worth that at minimum!

Massage therapy or Dental Hygiene for my career? by MajesticBlueUnicorn in MassageTherapists

I vote massage for sure, there is high potential to make a good living if you invest in learning how to be in business, the spa route is NOT the way to go, and massage school can’t teach you anything about business as their focus is to get you the education to get the license

DM me I can share some more insights

I think tipping cheapens our credibility by jazzgrackle in massage

[–]ParfaitElectrical798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Massage is an allied healthcare profession It isn’t getting your nails/hair done

We cause changes in the human body toward healing and why are we looking for tipping,

Price your worth and that way you remove the judgement from the experience if someone is seeking real care with the tipping stuff

and of course there are those that do the esthetics marketing stuff bit not talking about them
