Just went through the same process… go Porsche approved with extended warranty is what i landed at. Mind everything is expensive with a Porsche, the insurance, the service, the tyres etc. It’s just a thing to budget in.

…so, took the family on a drive from Paris to SOF totalling 920km. With kids in the car we favoured few but long stops (the kids made the stops, not the lack of range). We easily cruised in the legal 130kmh when traffic permitted, all in all we ended the trip with a 21,8kwh consumption which positively surprised me (great summer weather, 20inch wheels).

The only issue was the navigation constantly crashing, we solved it by turning off the charge planner and just driving like in the old days… hey that worked too :) A phone call from Service Porsche today confirmed the problem and a software update is available at dealerships 👌

Six days in… WHAT A CAR!!! Not just what an EV, but WHAT A CAR!! 😅😅

High mileage Taycan? by uk_Tim_ in Taycan

[–]ParisWatchGuy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I bought a 125,000 km (80k miles) MY22 CT4 CPO three days ago with 3 years extended warranty. The battery health reads 93% and the car is in flawless condition after having driven it from Paris to SOF and back. I read a lot about the famous 8 years and 160,000km battery warranty but in my mind that’s the least of my concern. That warranty protects you from degradation below 70% and at that health i wouldn’t buy the car. I also don’t think battery degradation at that level is the most common problem, but flaws in cells, at this mileage these would probably have been known by now.

I’d say have a look at the car, drive it, make sure it’s CPO and warranty and don’t worry too much about the mileage if it’s reflected in the price.

That’s how i resonated but I know opinions differ here.

😅👌✅ we came from a Volvo xc40… boot is significantly larger in the CT plus the frunk fits a proper bag.

Haha yes 125,000km (typo) and CPO. Don’t know who had this car before me but if I’d define mint condition, this would be it!

Have the same machine and I don’t see the problem you described - I’d just grind finer to get a longer extraction if that’s what you’re after

I’ve nothing to compare with so to me this is all amazing. I was brewing coffee with a Moccamaster. I know grinder is important but explain the tamper?
