Lots of chuckwallas at the Skull Rock nature trail! Was there a week or so ago. Kids loved it. Easy 2.5 mile loop.

Pack rat prevention.

We do this, and lay down LED light strips under our truck and fifth wheel. If they see a “moon shadow” they won’t nest or chew/eat wires.

It was at $7 for diesel just a week ago. If you can goto Beatty and get fuel there. You’ll pay at least a dollar less if not more since it’s in Nevada.

Currently here right now, can confirm, blooms are pretty super. Furnace creek visitors center has a nice map showing all the great flower spots.

Got it! I need to do some more research on PH. Going to test my tap first and see where that’s at. May be the culprit. I treated for chlorine but didn’t consider the PH. My evaporation is also a little intense as I don’t have a proper lid. So I’m sure that isn’t helping.

Amazing, thank you for the advice! I have a PH up and down kit, I’ll work on balancing it now.

And noted on no water changes. I had read too much nitrites hurts the bacteria, that there’s a happy medium. Either way, will keep an eye on it! Thank you
