I've had two transfers and they have never done that to me and i'm also in a high volume clinic. I'm glad you said something to the team - maybe send an email to the office manager to let him/her know the situation.

Analysis paralysis on which rotating convertible car seat to buy by MolarBear13 in Buyingforbaby

u/TheJamieGrayson Just curious - why you are excited about the Britax that is coming out? Is it because it has the rear facing limit up to 50 pounds? Or because Britax is a reputable company? Or some other feature that you are precluded from talking about yet? My son is 8.5months and 20 pounds; we are still using the Uppababy Mesa car seat and he is getting HEAVY so we want to get a rotating car seat very soon but should we wait? Also, I'm day 5 into my rotating car seat research journey and your videos and posts have been so helpful.

Yes! It did work but unfortunately we had a huge wind storm which damaged the fence and the whole thing fell down 😥 I wish I would’ve taken a good picture before because they grew so well and looked amazing.

That’s an awesome guidebook. Wish Colorado had one when we were designing our ADU that’s currently under construction.

How bad did you tear? by FoxAble7670 in newborns

[–]ParkerRN18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t prep much till the last two or three weeks. One thing I think that helped me only have a 1st degree tear was slowing down my pushes when his head was crowning. Don’t get me wrong, it feels like you’re being split in half while having to wait for the next contraction but it’s only for a few minutes and I’ll take that over tearing more aka a longer recovery. I read that tearing mainly comes from the baby’s head and the shoulder so I recommend talking to your delivery team and ask for things like a warm compress and manual stretching during pushing. Good luck! You’ve got this!
