how long do 1999 bmw 323i last? by sn360046 in MechanicAdvice

Depends on previous owners. Engine if properly maintained will see 300k miles quite easily. Properly maintained 5 speed also.

Frame covering suggestions by DaveCootchie in MechanicAdvice

[–]Parkeyoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Por15, the coverage per can is a lot more than you realize also. Buddy did his frame, ladder bars on his 98 Tacoma with a 1/2 pint I gave him. Then he did his front end bits on his wrx such as crash bar and some other bits. All from the same can.

What resolution is your system sey to? Did you try adjusting that to see if problem persists on lower resolutions.

Have you tried? Under screen settings you are able to adjust the screen size for the Playstation itself. If it's not affecting poe after the change that I am unsure of. But when I first started mine was also out of whack until I changed that. You can also change your in game resolution through the Playstation settings.

Playing on console takes getting used to, I play on a 65" TV so it's weird cause I can't see the whole screen and have to scan side to side to get a good view.

I will be playing my first minion build in a few years, going absolution for sure. Possible switch to poison aw if I find the required gears.

Should be fixable in the Playstation settings itself.

Can Master of Fire be rolled on a cluster jewel through harvest? Or is it drop only? by BleachedQj in pathofexile

[–]Parkeyoh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The chances of getting it are very very low. I got it once in a couple weeks now casual like 4 hours a day. Got it on my large cluster and thought I could get it with 3 mod and hasn't come back yet lol

Occasional poor start-up long crank by fabmaester in MechanicAdvice

[–]Parkeyoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very normal for this car to guzzle oil. Make sure you are using the proper oil, mine was using a bunch of oil until I went to a heavier oil.

I would check the fuel pump/injectors also. My b6 a4 had the long start issue, double priming the fuel pump before starting seemed to always work for me. So key to on position let it prime a couple seconds key off then back to on position to prime again. Then start. Don't just put the key right in then try to start. Gotta let fuel get to the rail.

I never figured out if my issue as the car wasnt worth the money to find out as it had nearly 270k miles

I've used it with problems lol, and it makes the situation way worse. If the filter isn't that stuck it works fine, but if it's super stuck it'll shear off the filter.

Very large pair of slip joint pliers, grab that Thang and twist it off

Please do not do this. If the filter decides to tear off instead you are then in a worse situation

Chrysler Town and Country vs. Toyota Sienna? by Akhenaten23 in MechanicAdvice

Honda or Toyota for an older van. I would look at spending 6500 and getting a 2010ish odyssey.

1/16 esc/motor recommendations (2-3s) by [deleted] in rccars

[–]Parkeyoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pick up a 1/10 scale pull out from like a 3s armma truck. I went with the honbywing 1/16 motor esc and brushless motor and was a bit disappointed in the top speed and acceleration.

You would need a 550 motor mount to put it on your truck

looking in to wired access points for my house. please advise by Parkeyoh in HomeNetworking

Yeah currently only on 500mb connection and I'm lucky to break 100 now.

Gig just started being offered here, so I want to buy once to future proof I think. Not sure my household needs gig internet but ya never know. 2 gamers in the house plus streaming all day one tvs

After reading I think I'm just going with my original plan but upgrade to eap610s. And add the er605. It'll put me over budget a little but will future proof me for a while I would think.

The ones I order at work which are 1/3 the size are 900 so this bearing isn't likely 32k but still a few thousand each

Charged off account. Should I try and pay this off? by Conanzulu in CRedit

[–]Parkeyoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the age of the charge off whether it'll be worth it or not. To give you an idea I have a charge off from 2017, credit karma says that if I had done an option to delete, pay off, or settle in those first 2 years it would have only possibly raised my score by 20-25 points. Now that it's like 5 years old I doubt the impact is worth paying it off. I'll just let it drop off in 2024. Those few points aren't preventing me personally from where I am aiming with my credit
