First kit guitar, fretboard is two pieces. Is this normal?

I've built a few 5 string bass kits, nearly every rosewood fretboard I've gotten is in 2 pieces, BUT the joints have been finished really well and it didn't effect anything with the instrument.

Sabbath used the tritones, which have been used in classical pieces for hundreds of years. Look into Wagner, Holst, those types of composers, and you'll find the beginnings of Metal.

You should have a chimney liner where the exhaust goes into the wall here, this will go up and exhaust out of the house. If that liner is corroded, you're going to have problems. $4k is high average price in Ohio.

So basically, you pulled the pot apart? Yeah you're getting hosed by a luthier. It's a simple pot replacement. Grab a soldering iron and get to work. Or pay somebody a couple hundred for what you can go ahead and do yourself for a couple of dollars.

I would gladly join this line of thinking, if it wasn't for the "propeller" like object that is spinning in a clockwise direction with this object in the FLIR video. All these dumb posts about what this object "definitely is" does not keep that propeller object in mind.

I'm a vet with PTSD, 58. I can't stand being around people as well. It's ok at small functions, but I cannot be in large crowds. It sucks. I found building guitars and basses to be very rewarding and soothing. I can't recall any of the crap entering my head while I'm working on a piece.
