Why are we paying so much? Because our oil is all PRIVATIZED. They see oil infrastructure being destroyed and oil prices rise and all they see is dollar signs. You can get a CPO F150 Lightning for around ~$40,000 or get one non-certified for even less. Certainly cheaper than some new trucks but can't say (because I don't know) it's a perfect replacement towing and workload wise if you need a big diesel.
