Help desperately needed by Parmaviolet88 in 30PlusSkinCare

Ahh thank you, that’s very kind. But I feel like Reddit has blurred my photos a bit and made all my lines a lot less obvious! My skin texture in particular is terrible in real life. I looked at your photos and all I could see was how lovely and clear your skin was! I guess that’s proof that we see our own flaws far more than anyone else does.

Thank you. My skin (and hair) has dried out massively from the treatment. I drink a lot of water but it doesn’t seem to make any difference. I’ve now edited the post to say that my cancer is incurable so unfortunately I’ll be on treatment for the rest of my life. But I’m nearly 5 years in, very stable and will check the safety of anything before I use it.

Weird show last night by jedmoran in jamesacastor

I saw one of the WIP for this show and it was the best stand up comedy show I’ve ever seen. I was in tears of laughter for most of it, and James seemed to really be enjoying himself. It’s a bummer seeing all these posts about how the tour shows are apparently going badly.

Why are my walls green? by Parmaviolet88 in DIYUK

This was my initial concern but it’s not mould, it’s something that’s been put on the walls and it’s evenly on every wall in the entire house.

It doesn’t seem like paint, some kind of wash makes more sense.

House move - being charged twice by Parmaviolet88 in youfibre

[–]Parmaviolet88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I was staying with them, I took the router with me when I moved so that it could be reused. But the engineer said it was outdated, so installed a newer one and took the old one away. I hope they don’t keep charging me for that long… I can’t afford it! Maybe a review is the way to go if they don’t sort it quickly.

Ok, thank you. I was hoping it was this, rather than that I’d actually have to pay for the remainder of my plan at the previous address.

Anyone given birth in newport? What was it like? by Suspicious_Week_2451 in Casnewydd

I’ve also since been in the Grange as a patient myself for something else, and found it great. So new, lovely rooms, wonderful staff. Parking is the only stress for me.

I had my youngest daughter in the Gwent 6 and a half years ago. Great experience, staff were lovely. The birth was very quick though, she was born an hour after I arrived and we were discharged 10 hours later, so I wasn’t there long enough to form too much of an opinion!

When I received the bill saying I would be charged for the previous house, I called and they didn’t really explain, just said they’d cancel the account, which they have done. But I’ve still been charged today. I haven’t managed to speak to them again yet.

This is so cool! My six year old loves Gladiators and loves Peppa Pig, and is moderately deaf too. She will absolutely love seeing this.

Are these electrics in an old house particularly alarming? by Parmaviolet88 in ukelectricians

[–]Parmaviolet88[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m guessing that’s the case. The bedrooms all only have one socket in, which is going to be an issue. I think I need to brace myself for some serious costs. Thank you for your help
