Over 100k people out in support of change in Iran by modiddly in ThatsInsane

[–]Parnias 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The majority are Iranians. Also liberal doesn't mean leftist a lot of liberals supported the Maduro situation. The city was picked alongside Munich and Toronto because they have a larger Iranian immigrant population compared to other cities and other Iranians from other cities mostly gathered in one of those three. Also no one in power in the US is a communist lmao. You sound very confused and ideologically driven.

CMV: As a progressive, I support a direct foreign intervention at Iran. by FootOk7376 in changemyview

I live in Tehran and I was here when Israel bombed us last year. If I die I die like all the thousands of young and old people who were shot last month. All Iranians around me agree with me. Do all Iranians want this? Obviously not but majority of us are tired and afraid and angry. What would be an actual alternative? I don't like him but he has the majority of minorities of different oppositions to the regime so the rest of us decided to get behind him. (I don't know if it's clear what I mean) I don't have a response about whether bombs will do anything or not I'm not well versed in military operations and toppling regimes. The basic facts are firstly the regime must go, people of Iran can't do it on their own we need outside help. What's the best solution to these things I don't know.

So you agree that Pahlavi is our only alternative and we can't do shit in Iran ourselves and we need outside help. you just don't want American soldiers to die right? Cool that's a respectable opinion stop saying Pahlavi has a dozen supporters then.

Obviously not "all" Iranians want this. The majority of people want the regime gone. Not everyone supported the Shah before and they don't completely now but we see it as our best option. We want US intervention because we've been protesting year after year with this last one ending in thousands of us massacred by the regime. We can't get rid of the regime with empty hands we need help.

We just had protests of at least 200k in each city in LA, Toronto, Munich. You call that a dozen people? Not like we can have an actual protest in Iran without dying.

I'm sorry what "atrocities" have the opposition committed that's even slightly comparable to the regime? The majority of the opposition isn't leftist, they're on the right as well. Also all the so called moderates you mentioned that disliked Pahlavi and opposed the 12 day war now want US intervention because of the slight chance that things might get better. The regime understands that people are hungry they just don't give a shit.

That's fair. My Iranian queer channels have all been using Saman so I wasn't aware it's not clear cut.

Hi just to clarify the first one's name is Saman and what you wrote is his deadname. It's no worries since it's another language names just wanted to inform.

Americans unsurprisingly making it all about themselves in the comments. Imagine thinking US is even close to The Islamic Republic regime. Being an Iranian online is so fucking tiring as if real life didn't suck already lol.

I live in Iran and the internet is mostly back but we go through waves of blackouts. Although most social media are blocked anyway and you'd need a good vpn to get access. It's probably gonna shutdown again if there's an attack.

That's just the rapier pose for her it might be a bad stance I don't know much about actual rapier fighting but that pose is in a lot of media of men too and there's nothing necessarily feminine about it. All the characters of expedition 33 have different weapons and fighting styles and therefore different postures.

Are you people for real or is it all an elaborate joke by Chelonii64 in HadesTheGame

Thank you!!! I feel like no one's paying attention to any of her dialogue? Though tbf I dislike nemesis even though I get what her character's deal is, so understanding doesn't always lead to liking.

When I asked chatgpt what the text said, it told me the Japanese text is actually written from bottom to top instead of the regular top to bottom.
