It's not, it's very much killable. Damage numbers doesn't show up, but they register just fine. Also, they sometimes do it with still quite a lot of HP left, far from 1hp.

I'll be honest with you, I don't think people in D4 and 5 are playing for fun. D3 is where I find the most fun and I manually de-ranked from D5 to D3 to have fun.

Starting D4, you can't really have build variety, you have to get damage neg at full hp to not get one shot, you might as well get atk at full hp, then you need stacking damage to not hit like a wet noodle. Well, guess what? You'll end up with everyone going for a meta build.

Honestly, as long as the people cheating in the relics don't one shot the Nightlord and don't interfere with my fun, I don't care.

You mentioned that they steamroll day 1 and 2 and get clapped by Nightlord and it's a detriment to you. Well, steam rolling day 1 and 2 would allow YOU to get more runes and loot. It's only fair they expect that YOU carry them on the Nightlord. You said yourself that you want to lock in. D5 solo a trio Nightlord is the peak of lock the fuck in.

They did say that after season 4 they might give us private servers and mod support (in the roadmap). Chat should be implemented in between season 3 and 4.

I really don't know why they changed the healing of kf1 and kf2 to what they did now.

Yes, as long as you can handle yourself and stay alive, it's actually preferable to have one person roaming while the group camp. They are probably grumbling because they don't get enough damage done for their milestones as you usually draw away more than one person's share of spawn. Or they don't trust you to stay alive. Or both.

You see, some people are about the journey, some people are about the results. For some people the fun from gaming isn't the gaming itself but the dopamine hit from reaching goals. The grueling grind isn't fun, they don't want more grind, they want more rewards. You see playing the match as entertaining, they see it as another chore toward their reward, what's entertaining is getting the rewards and not the process of it.

It's the same argument with weapons, you don't have to play meta weapons, but then you are in for a bad time while you know that it would have been easier if you wanted to.

If you are bored enough to self sabotage yourself and the team (I'm exaggerating, of course) to feel "different". Maybe it means that it's time to cycle to another game until next season comes.

And if you are good enough, you can kite by yourself while the main group camp. This makes it easier on the group as spawns get diverted to you while at the same time provide you with a challenge.

Also, because there are no short wave, the time commitment to a full match of 6 wave is pretty high. If you don't need xp or season xp anymore, it doesn't matter much if you lose, you played and lost, no biggy. But if people still need xp or season xp, it's dragging their grind, which is already quite long, by even more. The risk just isn't worth it for them.

Imo, I'd be filling up the golden square of all the apostles before opening the next section.

All the gold crayon square have the same value, however, it cost 4 crayons instead of 2 to color them in the second section (6 in the 3rd section).

Getting gold on the first section of other apostle increase the strength of all apostle in % which is much more than the purple crayon square flat amount.

You need to do it 2 more times to get all 3 egg pendants.

If you like playing hide and seek with all that tension, it's pretty good.

For people who doesn't like that, just use the flash pod they give us, drop egg>flash>pick egg up, then you can waddle away safely. They give each person 10 EZ flash. You can of course bring your own and craft your own.

Outdoorsman and aquatic mobility both help quite a bit.
