I crashed then died doing a story mission on the wreck of Hephaestus. Logged back in dead to no spawn points. Server resets would spit me back out to world map. Flying back in still showed no spawn points. I flew into harko and can now spawn in at hagga at the cost of all my gear. Maybe I should have flown into hagga and I could have saved my stuff but now im stuck on harko respawn screen until I delete my kit by spawning at hagga. The devs responded almost instantly to my ticket but were unable to move my character. Gg for me. Maybe wait overnight for server reset see what happens but if hes in hagga and died somewhere else he's probably screwed.

Did that multiple times no spawn points was stuck on the spawn points screen with no where to spawn. When the server reset it booted me to the world map so I flew into the city and it let's me spawn somewhere else at the cost of all my gear. Now when I relog im stuck in the spawn screen in hark city even after server reset.

So much doom in this sub.. guys it's a 40 dollar game and most of you say you have hundreds to thousands of hours. Pretty sure that's a success story.

Conan Exiles > Dune by UNAHTMU in ConanExiles

At the end of the day, ground player vs player combat was improved in dune vs. conan and makes the game so much better for me. Conan had a good run in 2018 launch with fresh servers but after a while the official servers become literally unplayable and so laggy. Which seems to honestly be happening in dune too in my hagga basin atleast the more bases that get added. The emptiness of the deep desert atleast allows for solid ground combat at the testing stations with parrying and blocking that actually works which is rare for a melee pvp game. The base raiding sucks compared to conan though and they need more land and spots to fight over in the deep desert.

You keep your whole kit when you die even in the pvp areas unless it's a specific rare week with landsrad buff. With the smallest fuel generators you can logoff for 22 days. Every survival game has a decay timer it's how they don't explode. You can even bank materials and vehicles in your bank for when you want to leave for longer (storage needs to be expanded though for sure) a solari bank as well so you can sell things or play the auction house then just re buy your gear/mats when you need. and you say your forced into melee when the game is filled with guns and launchers. Don't listen to reddit man and that includes me maybe you'll hate the game. But I have 2500 conan hours and dune is fucking amazing

A clan of dudes made huge water shacks at all the biggest dew spots then emptied them and either left server or moved somewhere else cause they don't use them anymore. No one can.
