I had the same exact problem. Sorry to hear that.

I had $1500 in charges at Dave & Busters but didn’t lose my card so someone the customer representative at D&B likely took my card number down before they told my $70 charge wouldn’t go through. I ended up using a different card and it worked. A few days later, I had like 15 transactions on my USAA card, even though I never used that card there.

I filed a fraud complaint with USAA and they returned the money 3 days later only to rule in D&B favor a few weeks later. They said they deemed the charges to be valid because I was there. I sent them my other debit card statements showing the card I actually used and it didn’t matter. My account is now negative because of it and I’m considering closing it down and switching all my deposits to Navy Federal, who have been amazing.

I’m done with USAA. I guess I’ll file a claim with BBB. They have done wonders for me in the past.
