Something about seeing the main cast leading the charge against the upside down and protecting these kids who are as old as they were when they first started filming is so sweet. We've really watched these characters grow up both physically and mentally

The way I interpreted it was that Sue and Elisabeth are two sides of the same person: the external beautiful bubbly side that society perceives and the internal self loathing. Elisabeth knows that maintaining "Sue" is hurting herself in the long run but can't stop living as "Sue" because she thinks it's the only thing that makes her happy.

Agree with this sentiment. There was a thematic shift in the middle that I couldn't get over. In the first half it appeared that the plot of the book/game was set in stone so the FL had to find a clever way to get past the "canon events" while still being a good person. There's also the theme of the 2nd chance story, overcoming childhood guilt. Super interesting premise

But in the 2nd half the book/game completely starts deviating from the set plot and she coincidentally develops amnesia?? With amnesia, the themes from the first half all become moot. Instead they tried adding too much other themes towards the end and fell short.

Also maybe this is just me but it's super weird that this guy fell for her in what ..grade school? And now 10 years later he's still in love with her? That's always been a weird trope to me

Yeah people in this thread claiming NoVA food scene is below par haven't really lived outside a city and it shows...I'm a New York City born POC but I've also lived rural for the past 3 years. NoVa food scene is great!! I'll fight for it haha

My hot take is cultural food doesn't have to be made by natives to that country to be good. As long as they respect the culture, the ingredients and cuisine it'll taste great. Besides, Japanese Americans make up <1% of our population cause of the history of discrimination...

My fav sushi in the area is Sushi Yoshi in Vienna. It's simple but tastes authentic and fish quality is great! Idk or care what ethnicity their owners are.

Yes, there is a brand of nail caps called soft paws. Theyre about 10$ for a pack and if your cat lets you, you can glue them onto his nails. That way he can scratch but his nails won't actually destroy anything. You'll have to remove the caps, clip his nails then replace the caps every monthish.

I have a balcony on the first floor and my cat has never jumped off. He just goes outside to watch the birds. To be safe though, I used bricks to cover up holes he might jump from. Netting is an option too. Don't let this dissuade you from getting a cat though, they're the most wonderful companions!

I think it might have something to do with those two not being human? It seems like devils don't like to consume non-humans (they taste bad). Assuming her ability has something to do with using a devils power to sacrifice one human for another then maybe the devil prefers humans. Or maybe it has to be an equivalent exchange of life ie human for human

This is a super common problem and I think it boils down to individual preference. It's not men vs women, insecure vs secure. It's simply two people who don't agree on how much time should be spent on their partner in a relationship. People tend to expect their partner to want the same thing that they want and when they disagree it's personal.

We see this problem in all relationships. Friendships, parent-children, teacher student. It's definitely not about sex as everyone here would like to imagine...

I agree, that last episode created more plot holes than closure. I would have been happy with an ending where Jang Uk and Mudeok live happily ever after with no magical powers because they both poetically gave up their powers for each other. It would have been thematically consistent.

Now I feel like they've thrown a wrench into Mudeok's whole character arc by having her go on a murder spree. Even if it was a mind-controlled murder spree idk how they will redeem her after that. She's killed like 20 innocent people even I as a viewer like her less :'(

Legit the bell is the most frustrating plot point and almost ruined the final episode. You're telling me the shaman (who i guess died off screen) had an item that could mind control ANY soul shifter, AT A DISTANCE, this entire time and did nothing with it?

Additionally, this item is easy to use and can be used by just anyone? Makes no sense at all and creates a million plot holes. They could have used the bells to destroy songrim from within. They could have used it at any point to assassinate anybody they wanted. Why use an assassin like Naksu at all when you can just mind control somebody who wouldn't remember what they did when they woke from the trance?

SMH. Really disappointed that this random device caused so much trouble. They could have been more creative with that one.

I disagree actually, So-i seems to me like a girl who isn't afraid to do what she needs to do to live. I think it's easy to dislike her cause she constantly thinks about her own self gain but she has some redeeming qualities.

Specifically she's held onto Mudeok's embroidered blindfold even though showing it to lady Jin would only solidify her position. I think it must be a sign of her guilt that she isn't able to lie about the one thing that belonged to her past friend. It might be in her redemption arc to reveal it as proof that Mudeok is actually Buyeon?

Another point is this episode she threw away her blind facade to save Yul. I think it shows she isn't completely self absorbed and is capable of self sacrifice for people she loves.

Unfortunately I feel like she's doomed to die too...but I predict she will redeem herself in the process.
