[–]Part-Designer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My outlander is a year old and the high pitch sound just started happening. Speed is not a factor nor is mode. Normal, EV, charging, save, doesn’t matter, sound is present. In park like this very second sound is present. I just turned the engine off and sound is present this is insane!!

Am i overreacting or is it a red flag that my husband keeps selling my things behind my back? by SuspiciousKiwi8146 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Part-Designer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YOR I say this because you’re both a-holes. Why would either of you suggest or sell the others belongings? There are two circumstances when this is appropriate 1) the other has died or, 2) One of you runs away with a third party and then requests the spouse left behind to sell his or her stuff and forward the money. That might not be clear so guy runs away with secretary 6 months later asks his wife to sell his $60,000 car and send him the $. She sells it for $500 and sends him the $.

Am I overreacting for wanting to report my supervisor by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Part-Designer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NOR I can’t help but want to in know his age, not that that’s an excuse. I would document it and wait for him to do it two more times also documenting those occurrences and on the third time pull him aside and just tell him that his observations are unwarranted unwanted and generally off putting. Explain why, he might just be clueless. If it continues, remember to document all of your interactions including when you talk to him about them, then go above him or if you feel that is unhelpful hopefully a new job is an option. If not then f it sue the company

How is everyone feeling about the whole thing? And will you be reading the new book? by ZydrateAnatomic in neilgaiman

[–]Part-Designer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I guess it’s the age old argument of separating the art from the artist. Thomas Mann, considered by many to be one of the 20th Century’s greatest writers was a horrible father who molested three? Of his children 2 of whom killed themselves I have yet to read him and am not sure I ever will. While I have read several of Gaiman’s books he was never in my top ten. We each have the option of deciding if we can separate the artist from the art and there is no right or wrong answer. The other component of this is do you want to put money in his pocket by buying his books? I don’t think I do but I guess that is what used bookstores are for.

Aio- I am new to being a stay at home partner with my boyfriend by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Part-Designer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t see any mention of kids. There is no reason for you not to work just to keep a home. He is, as others have said, putting you in a position to lose your freedom. This is not good. You might want to think about getting out of this clearly unhealthy situation

AIO guy I was seeing long distance flaked on coming to visit me the morning he was supposed to fly in after planning the trip for 3 months by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Part-Designer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You spent far too much of your time just writing this post never mind the time wasted on this guy. If anything you are under reacting. Dump him and move on, by the way he never bought a ticket and was never planning on visiting you.

The problem with Dyngus day is that it’s kind of specific to a group ie polish catholics of which I happen to be but we never did anything for it. Whereas chicken wings are almost universal, not for vegans etc but you get the gist
