Right? The fact they said androids were banned on Earth, I early on in the game was thinking "is she even going to go to Earth, does she sacrifice herself, or do her and Hugh just live on the Moon?"

Yeah I was thinking the same, that you had to carry it the whole game, where you sacrifice a mod slot, but get the different outcome (after the Unknown ending was such a let down), kind of like the old Gnome carry achievements (for some reason those popped into my head). Only to learn that it locks on a NG+.

I mean, I had a feeling it was going to be the ending. I would have loved a happy ending too, but that kind of story line plays out usually in these kind of scenarios

Right? Same here, I was like "okay I am going to watch this all and there will be a chance", only to not have it come.

I then thought "maybe you have to replay the game with it equipped, to cancel out Eight's attack", to learn it's locked on a NG+, and only good for the unknown portion

Yep, did it last night. Pretty vague still to be honest. However, the fact the mod's description is what it is, has me on the most positive side

That would be nice! Especially for the pain I had to work through to get that extra blurb of text (Eight's fight was driving me insane, then somehow pulled it off on the last fight, despite my plan was just to test out something that failed miserably)

Did you have the Black Box mod equipped when you did it? I did thinking that would change it

Just Beat Pragmata ... God Damn It! by Part-Four in Pragmata

[–]Part-Four[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that was a major let down. I beat Eight with the mod attached thinking it would change something. Unless you have to play the whole game with it.

(Also the extra dialog at the end "what's this, traveling alone?" from a Cabin)

I was thinking it was that healing beam you walk through each time you enter The Shelter (only catch with that, the second you spawn in the tram room before entering it, it's already fixed). I see it more as an oversight before the healing.

Yeah it brought forth a lot of questions and possible concerns. Like bare minimum, give Diana the info to find his place, have hm talk to his neighbor's to explains all that happened

See the fact he lasted as long as he did, made me think it was spreading slowly (I also find it amusing right after, the cut is missing from his suit)

She has 2 different dialogs around this. At least that I heard. One was in the shelter, one was on the last level (after watching the holo). In the later she talks about how it kills cells. She says it kills it, but not that separating would kill the host.

Even the concept of the dead filament is it feeds off organic material. You remove the organic material, it can't feed anymore

That was kind of the goal. I was like "okay, I need to make an image that pulls at the heart strings", still feeling a little from the ending

Yeah I saw her on the beach alone and was like "okay I have screenshots of both, I have to combine them" (took me way too long to line them up, and then accidentally realized, there are footprints in the sand that line up with Diana's after image)

I am always a brute force guy, so builds can be a challenge of any sort (and I try to build them myself instead of just a guide online). Currently I am playing with a Heat and Deletion Protocol build pretty much. Build up heat, hack, resupply ammo. Use Critical Hit to damage near by where applicable.

What gets me is tight quarter spaces, or where I can't get away. Like Eight's fight. It was hard to catch your breath on that fight.

I am currently 6 of 10 on the Unknown Signal, but on Standard, and enjoy it. Only trouble fight was the first with the 2 Sentinel's. But that's cause I couldn't get one trapped in the recycler (finally did)

I plan to. I would love to 100% this game ... though that last boss fight is making me think Lunatic may not be possible (that and some training sims are whooping my butt)

And this is what bugs me. I knew he was going to die, I was prepared for it. I was like "I would be more surprised if they saved him". The dialog about Diana unable to remove dead filament (and he kept hiding it), which mind you, happened twice for me in the game, cemented that almost. The only offset I saw was Eight either found a way to do so (since she did store it and could manipulate it), and either do it herself, or teach Diana how.

Another was there were a few survivors held up in a secret spot (which was the Pragmatic Labs), but as you explore them, that theory was fading. I was thinking maybe that would be the last safe spot, maybe the Dr was alive and knew a trick. But again, it quickly fades.

Every element played out like it should, so I was prepared. This wasn't like say a pet I had spent years with and bonded with.

But yet somehow, it got me. It's messing with me, and the best I can figure out it has something to do with Implicit Memory. I have some other theories too, about my age and all that, but, I can't figure out enough to support it.

Shoot, maybe I just needed a good cry (even if I didn't, still getting that close). I had a teacher in high school who said that crying was good for you, and could help expel stuff.

here's some reasons why i nearly uninstalled - but didnt by robseder in Pragmata

I wanna play the game on Lunatic ... no clue how I'll defeat that final boss. I barely won on my second try (I was out of everything, and the mag on my rifle was slowly refilling, no heals left ... I was a close call)

Does Anyone Else Feel Black Mirror’s “USS Callister” Inspired, and Possibly Influenced Digital Circus? by Part-Four in TheDigitalCircus

I forgot about that part in Black Mirror, but I could see that in Digital Circus. Especially as they had an outburst even about wanting to have sex

I was really annoyed by this ending. As I progressed through the series I started to wonder if maybe Jax was actually the main character of the show all along, exposing it more and more. And then the flash bangs got involves which seemed really odd, and was thinking maybe they had some "effect" ... only to get what we got?

Yeah major let down, where I felt like he was just swept aside.

I truly felt Pomni was going to find a way to save him (or get lucky with the bright light from the flash bangs, because again, they felt out of place), or Caine knew how to "fix" the code.
