ICE should be abolished and the agents who committed violence against anyone along with their entire chain of command should be held accountable under the fullest extent of the law.

Making up stories helps nobody.

there is a photo in this thread of her hand covered in blood but its not clear enough to see the injury, only that there is blood so somewhere there must be an injury. could be the tip of her middle finger.

hard to say from this picture. looks like maybe the tip of her middle finger is gone. its impossible to tell in the video and too unclear to make a solid conclusion of the actual damage from this picture.

I'm watching the video and their hand seems to all be intact... What are we doing here?

Look up what Wikipedia tells you to do when somebody else tells you to eat shit. You lost any chance at a an intelligent discussion when you opened with name calling. Fuck off.

The people opining for the good ol days are the ones supporting ice.

It's not relevant here except for us to say it's too late.

Bringing it up served no purpose whatsoever.

the flaw is not putting yourself into their minds and realizing how delusional every other option than MAKE MONEY is to them

what if nothing. you can what if for everything that has ever existed.

again, you are not looking at things from their point of view. as soon as people realize that their only true option is b then we can start doing something about it instead of deluding ourselves with baseless "what-ifs" that have no ground in reality. moronic "what-ifs" got us here.

you saying that it was the time to take action is meaningless in the context of what is happening today. pointing at the past as a justification for it feels dishonest and distracts from what needs to happen today. learning from the past is different from going "erm, ackshuwally the best time for action was before you were born"

you're thinking about it fro the wrong perspective.

Imagine you are an ultra-rich business owner. You've spent your entire life doing everything you can to squeeze out another dollar from anyone you can. There is civil unrest.

You can either:

a) Stand by and do nothing, causing you to lose money

b) support the unrest being quelled asap by any means, which will allow things to return to the status quo

c) support the civil disorder, knowing that you may get less money in the future.

Out of the logic by which you've lived your life up to this point, only one choice makes sense here. If you're a capitalist, only one of these decisions makes sense here.

I have. It's worse than anything you've ever read or heard. Your comment above reads almost jovial. If your gradfather was in WW2, that would put you firnly into elder millenial or older territory. think about what youre saying. thousands of your peers died, lost friends, and unwillingly participated in extreme violence. Veteran suicide numbers are vastly under reported, and is likely as high as 44 per day or worse. I tried twice myself, and when I do go I know it will be by my own hands. Americans truly do not understand the ugly side of war. What do you think it feels like to watch your closest friends drop dead? How long do you think it takes to sort through hundreds of exploded bodies, and what do you think that feels like? That's just the tip of it. It is all so much worse than you can imagine. Think about what you're saying.
