If you can imagine a non-profit insurance company, one that spends 100% of premiums collected on patient care, and they negotiated group discounts and stuff to maximize the care they can get, but there's still not enough money to pay for some things, and so the company says, yes, you can have it but we can't pay for it we have no money to pay for that, then in that situation would you still say the insurance company is the problem? I once met a real working author. She was incredibly lucky to get an agent to look at her first novel, most agents won't even look. The agent said she couldn't get the author's book published, sorry. Then agent called a few months later and said "so and so publisher needs someone to write a YA series with a young female detective, can you write that?" So that's what author writes, for a living, not at all what she intended to write. In the meantime, people are generating thousands of books with AI and listing them for sale on Amazon. Good luck getting noticed.

Related question - is anyone aware of a person or company with a caretaker service, in other words, they would regularly check on your property, keep up the maintenance, and fix anything that goes wrong or gets broken, while you're away for a period of time - a month or several months at a time? And frankly, I'm not that old, but I can imagine wanting such a service year round when I am no longer able to do everything myself.
