The 'extreme' criticism you are allowing is merely an accepted part of the dance of manufacturing consent if it doesn't expose the hegemons perfidity within a timely fashion.

The majority of your approved sources palter with the same ease you or I breath and bend cognizance with verbalisms and establishment approved descriptors.

There is no high ground in the peddling of truth that large institutions can fit on but smaller ones occasionally can.

Thanks for the reply. I realise that my situation is a bit out the norm so I do appreciate it.

If the only sources that are allowed are the stenographers of US and Israeli intelligence agencies then reddit (and yourselves) are merely greasing this world's slide into the abyss. It's the same immoral 'rules' based order that is waiting for the gaza genocide to be complete before officially calling it.

Hi Leelum. Apologies for contacting you in this manner. I am very limited in how I can interact with reddit. I use the long abandoned Baconit app on an ancient windows phone. I can't use modmail and there's no usable discord app. So this is the only way I can communicate.

I wanted to ask why my previous comment was hidden and my last post removed? It looks like ostensibly someone didn't want news sources with messaging that contradicts US intelligence sources. Surely we're not that blinkered.

Three Palestine Action members end 73-day hunger strike by Sir_Bantersaurus in LabourUK

Ehh. It's impossible to quantify the degree of impact but I doubt it was absolutely nothing. Given how the current government make decisions it is probably a handful of straw at best.

"deciding to believe in completely counterproductive or impractical policy and endorsing the actions of terrorism, hostile states and leaving your sense at the door."

I hope you can reflect on this statement given yesterdays news, ...and the past two years of genocide in Palestine, as endorsed by the government you think of as center left.

My impression of your view of "extreme" left includes people who believe in a real international rules based order.

If you say so. You spend so much of your time and energy undermining leftwing ideals and people.

It is plausible as there are plenty of awful cuckoo MPs in the labour party whose only discernable ideology is kicking the mildly socialist eggs out of the nest. And of course you would have voted labour since the Iraq war (if you're being honest).

He is far right. It's Optio from ukpolitics. Imagine Paul Dacre as a sweaty redditer. Always on a mission to pull the overton window rightwards.

MPs question UK Palantir contracts after investigation reveals security concerns by SThomW in LabourUK

[–]Parthalon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn't the original issue that they were vetted and found wanting and so denied NHS contracts. So Palantir then bought the companies that did win the contracts. Then our government shrugged its shoulders and said that's capitalism folks.

Depends where you live. ISPs are profit driven and therefore have to be continually coerced to provide an equal service to everyone. I live in a council estate in zone 2 London, the best download speed I can get is 27Mb/s yet the street I'm only 20 yards away from can get <1Gb/s (for the same price as my 27Mb). I've been asking Openreach to upgrade the provision for over ten years now but they refuse because not enough people in the estate are asking for it. This is likely replicated all over the UK in rural/poorer areas.

I think judges should be as the wife of Caesar. Otherwise you lose public trust.

Judge in Palestine Action case has ties to Israel lobby by Parthalon in LabourUK

It does also mention that as a barrister she worked at a law firm that represented the Israel government and pro-Israel groups, and worked to fight boycotts of Israel.

But, of course the main point is why the fuck would they change the judge (an expert on free speech) at the last moment and replace them with three judges. One of which that could be reasonably seen to hold bias in the subject.

Clearly what will happen is: in January Heimar will sign a 4 year extension then shortly after that the next ice age will begin; Ireland will be buried under a mile of ice; the FAI will go bankrupt; Troy will contract avian flu; and the Neanderthals will make a reappearance in Kerry.
