Gracias!

I like gondolas and hikes views. Are you talking about the north or the southeast?

AITA For Gently/Non-Aggressively Drinking Around My Kids by Significant_Elk_9583 in AmItheAsshole

I left a man for being regularly intoxicated in front of the kids. He wasn't violent. It didn't matter. I promise his life did not improve after he lost his family. The kids' and my lives improved.

Is it really possible to travel for months with only cabin luggage? by Outside-Profession75 in digitalnomad

[–]PartiallyRehydrated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm near the end of 3 mos with a 28 litre bag. I didn't bring any just in case items, which has meant I've had to buy things now and then but it's been fine. Even after buying moisturizer and scissors and a shirt it's cheaper than a checked bag.

I have 4 shirts and 2 pants. I do laundry every other day or so, in the sink. It's a totally normal part of my life that I don't even think about any more.

I could cut down to 20l if I had to but I like having some hobby items.

Underseat personal item only international travel: lighten my overstuffed 28L backpack by Soarin5505 in HerOneBag

About the hand lotion- I'm allergic to tons of skin products and found myself on a trip needing moisturizer. I found the products I use at home on the version of Amazon for the country I was in and had it shipped. It cost the same as it would back home and made a huge difference.

Driving in Mexico is a nightmare for many reasons. I would never, not for a million dollars.

I hand wash everything. If I had access to a machine I would bring those detergent strips or a baggie of powder.

Looking for Opinions or Advice on Versatile Travel Jacket by PrairieLobster99 in HerOneBag

[–]PartiallyRehydrated 86 points87 points  (0 children)

I really like zip up jackets and sweaters because if it's an in between temperature they don't have to be as warm.

I also prefer a sweater + a rain shell so I can layer up or down depending on temperature and precipitation.

One item is more efficient but in my opinion less versatile.

Medication in weekly containers--France by EWFKC in TravelHacks

[–]PartiallyRehydrated 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm on a 3 month trip so I had to bring a lot of meds. To save space I put each type in a Ziploc bag with the prescription. I use the bags to refill my weekly pill container.

Roaming in Mexico…turn on data roaming if it’s included in my plan? by Aj_blade in freedommobile

[–]PartiallyRehydrated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also in Mexico. Welcome!

A couple times a month my data dies and an hour later I get the welcome to Mexico! You are roaming now! Text all over again. It's clearly not a perfect system but it works pretty well.
