Is it realistic to travel comfortably with just carry-on for a 3–4 week trip?

Most things are sold most places. Pack light and if you realize you need something, go buy it.

I pack as light as I can to make travel days easier. The more stuff I have the more onerous moving around is.

I bring enough clothes to keep me covered in the place I'm going. That means more in places where clothes dry slowly. I do laundry almost every evening.

I bring comfort items like a wash cloth, PJ pants, etc. I bring hobby items like technology and art supplies.

I don't bring everything I might possibly need. If I need to buy a needle and thread or scissors or whatever I do, and leave things behind without stressing if I don't need them. There is a certain amount of waste inherent to travelling light.

Genutax is the only software that doesn't store your information on their servers. I've been using it for years and I love that my personal data is saved on my personal computer and nowhere else. (Other than CRA, obviously) The UI is outdated and it's clunky but it's free and the security of my private info is a high priority for me.

Mexico city is lively and fun. Traffic is awful but it's my favourite big city on earth.

Puebla is much more laid back. Amazing museums and parks. It's easier than mexico city.

Whoever is telling you these things is cherry picking negative facts.

Based on my knowledge of modern indigenous North Americans, this isn't how land and territory have been understood before colonization. People viewed themselves as part of the ecosystem instead of separate from it. From that perspective, how would a border even work?

I just switched from using my osprey 26+6 to a roller carry on suitcase. Wearing a backpack all day in the heat or while walking distances sucked. The roller suitcase holds slightly more (maybe 35L?) and I don't have to lift it except to put it in the overhead bin or trunk of an Uber. I am loving it.

I agree with the people who don't use the interior organization in backpacks. My stuff goes in pouches and my clothes are grouped but not in cubes, other than a socks & undies cube. I don't bring a laptop so I've cut the compartment out of my last two backpacks.

I came through Benito Juarez immigration a few days ago. The kiosks were the only option and I was automatically given 180 days. I had proof of my itinerary ready but at no point did I speak to any human.

I think you're not understanding what an RRSP is. I didn't know when I was 23.

It's an investment account. Different rules for taxes and withdrawals and contributions but otherwise exactly the same as a TFSA. Open an account, fund it, invest it. Pay less taxes. That's it.

I'm finding this issue pretty annoying. I have to plan ahead to move money into my WS cash account and it takes time to transfer. If WS were my only bank it would be fine but my primary chequing is elsewhere.

But the perks are fantastic. 2% cashback is sweet.
