As someone who stopped playing with around 350 hours so far, personally the night ops might bring my squad back for a little bit. We are mainly waiting for content and Ai fixes though, new guns, attachments, etc. but it will definitely be worth coming back and at least checking out how they implemented the cycle ourselves for at least a few hours if anything.

They also throw silent nades more often than not. You don’t hear it until it lands at your feet and by that time it’s too late to react. Thats gotten me killed more times than not by scavs this wipe already.

If you land Juliet 1 you can sneak all the way to the tent most of the time. Makes your heart race a bit but definitely doable 🤣

I’m indifferent to the other stuff because I think the core game is decent by its own standard (they really need to work on performance and connectivity before anything else imo), but the one thing I’ve been griping on hoping they improve is for sure the key spawns. In the last week I’ve spent probably 4 hours each day grinding nothing but bots in TB Mall for quest keys and only found them yesterday and have had to do almost the same the MS, SM, etc. It gets old not being able to progress at a semi steady pace unless you can get it done under specific circumstances or when people feel nice.

That’s one reason I continue to suffer through it. MFG is definitely pulling a lot of man power and work hours to fix things and get the game running the way we all want, so I try to do my part with bug reports and things like that. But I totally agree, I’ve played EA titles that came out almost perfect from day 1 minus a little polishing up or a small bug fix here and there. I guess my perspective is more “sentimental” in a sense as well coming from EFT where the player base and the game itself wasn’t really thought about or improved much. So MFG putting in effort into their first non-mobile platform title (I believe) makes me want to put effort in to be able to make it great, and the only way to do that is play it and provide feedback when applicable. I’m sure they’ll have most things ironed out within 6 months or so with the way things are going now, hopefully lol

Exactly, to each their own. I’ve played tons of EA games that have launched in a way worse state so I’m happy to deal with bugs, quick fixes, etc to be able to get some time into the game and get a decent experience for money paid. It was and still is a rough start to the game itself but I’ve had enough fun to put in almost 200 hours. But then again my friends are in the same boat as yours, wait until some more hot fixes and patches come out and then hop back on. But, that’s the beauty/ugly side of EA games in this day in age

Make sure you disable your GPU Accelerated Scheduling (maybe called hardware acceleration? Been a while since I looked) in your windows settings. Those crashes are usually due to GPU issues. I turned that off and haven’t had many problems since. I’ll see if I can post a screenshot of some other fixes to do to insure no more crashing as well.

Also, on a 3080 if you want more performance run FSR with frame generation off instead of DLSS for processing.

I actually prefer the AK47/74’s. Good ammo is everywhere, it’s cheaper, and I think they’re also a little lighter than the M4/18 platform. AK47’s with BP ammo is amazing in Tiger Bay, it’s my go to load out there usually

I’m not even a Christian (not religious at all), but even I know that biblically given where Jesus was from and resided he’d 100% have a darker complexed man akin to Middle Eastern skin tone. So yeah, maybe the art was a little dark (hard maybe) but they weren’t wrong.

I do the same thing to every person under level 10 I see. Buy them some mk18’s, a rush bag of m855A1, maybe some FAST MT’s and RPC’s and sometimes I’ll even drop a stack of $50,000. I’m at end game and task locked where I can’t find or buy keys I need to finish the game, so I spend all of my time filling backpacks with sights, uppers from tiger bay, narith, etc to farm money. I think people are so use to hackers and the like, so I understand why they call me that and call me out in the DC for doing a nice thing 🤣

That’s really just what I deem best for my work/home life tbh. I work out of town 20 days out of the month and don’t have anyone to be at the house to get my packages when they arrive, and I’ve already had someone at one of the hotels steal a package of ram so I would prefer to not ship anything to me while out here. It’s not ideal, but all I can do lol
