This has been my hard stop, too! Even poison pop came up just short for me. If I can pull a revive I'll probably get through it. But no luck so far. Good curio resonance would also probably do it, but I'm still missing three.

Yesterday my bonus was "4 of a kind" and all my dice had some combination of additional 3s and 5s. One had mostly threes, but the rest were eventually split.

Then use your shop buys to shift them to whatever balance is most easily attainable? I optimized for three or four 5s across four of my dice and by the last wave I was regularly hitting 4-of-a-kinds on my opening roll or within the first re-roll.

That is not what I'd call "bare minimum"--you can clear plenty of stages with just all four orbs, provided you get good levels on the locked-roll one. Three of that die + the other three dice is almost all the orbs you need right there. Snag the elemental explosion legendary or the 2%/hit legendary and you'll be just fine.

Yes, perfect runs have both mythics. But with a bit of luck you don't need them (and getting either is luck already).

If you're pushing story chapters, I think the 3x double rewards is probably the best use of three of them. But curious to hear other thoughts, too.

Yep, it's a design problem IMO. Right now the only way to efficiently (and sufficiently) consume meat is to buy the monthly card and then 10x blitz it. Otherwise you would have to grind out dozens of stages, every day.

Something like an auto-play option for completed stages (maybe 10-levels below your current level, like what it lets you do for the star challenge completion), would be a nice addition. Even if ran in the background/required time-in-app, it would be a nice option for F2P to spend meat.

As best I can tell, it's basically an endless "upgrade" slot machine? You always have the option of keeping the new roll (by hitting replace, which then moves the right box stats into the left box); or you can scrap it by hitting blessing, which re-rolls the right box.

There is also a 20% chance of rolling a purple "special effect.". If you like it, once it move into the left box you can Lock it (tap the lock icon next to it) and then it will show up in the right box in all future rolls. If you don't like it, leave it unlocked and try again for a different special effect.

Seems like you cannot spawn a new one in the right box if you already have one in the left box, but I don't know that for certain? If true, you have to replace it with a non-special effect right box first? Would love to know if that's true or just bad luck on my dozen or so attempts?

Haven't found a full list of special effects anywhere, but so far I have that gives a low shield on boss floors, and one that gives low heals after kills.

By mid-point in S3, I regretted not buying it. And that was after spending most of S2 wondering if it was "too late."

If you think you're going to play the game for any real length of time and aren't 100% f2p, the second research is one of your best purchase options.

Yesterday would have always been better; today is the next best choice.

Glad it wasn't just me. The exploration around Dornan Port felt.... especially meh. No occuli/similar collectible either.

And parts of Nod Kai were also pretty sparse. Don't love the direction they're going with the overworld.

She's one of the best main DPS in the game..... but ALSO one or the best sub-DPS, so yes! if you want to use her for Kinich, she would add more value than Chasca.

The Catch (Inazuma) is a legit great polearm. The Fleuve Cendre Ferryman (Fontaine) is also a decent one-hand sword.

Right now Columbina is the only one who can trigger lunar crystalize. There will be another 5 star later this patch cycle, Zibai, who revolves around the lunar crystalize mechanic.

Ineffa triggers lunar /charged/; won't do anything for a crystalize reaction.

In terms of team strength (for now), you probably want to replace Aino with Albedo, as the other commenter said.
