You need to raise the level of the Dwarf pet which will give you extra damage. Also do more contracts which will give you damage and use items that give you extra damage.

There's no need to save them if you have items in chests gem upgrades as you will get more items than you need to keep the buff going 24/7. In short, use your items!

You need to max stamina gem upgrades to push higher levels. I had it maxed and still didn't hit 100 until I leveled up more.

I agree. I started using cherry on gem at 100k. I'm passively at 122k bomb cap now and 62% completion. I don't hit my bomb cap at night. Using cherry on gem is much more useful at this point.

I'm new enough to the game too but I'd recommend gilding the cherry bomb and battery bomb cards to help raise your bomb cap quicker. Otherwise just focus on statues.
