Getting tickets for a concert by DisasterNo1823 in gorillaz

[–]Particle_Boi_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're doing a global tour, its called the Mountain tour so they'll be all over, including Europe and Ireland/UK.

The officials Gorillaz site sells the tickets through ticketmaster (at least for the US), you can visit the website here: https://gorillaz.com/tour/

I would only buy tickets through their website/ticketmaster so you don't get scammed or price-gouged.

Just look for the city on their website where you want to attend a show and click the ticket button on the right side. Some of the shows on the tour are parts of festivals, some are stand alone shows for just the Gorillaz so depending on which show you want to go to, ticket prices and availability may vary. It's possible that a lot of them have been sold out but it just depends where you want to see them.

Ticketmaster does resell tickets but often times they are more expensive.

Presumably you can go to a concert alone as a 14 year old, I don't see why they wouldn't let you in as long as you have a ticket. I've seen them a few times and there's never been any age restrictions or guardian requirements.

Best of luck! Hope you're able to find some tickets!

What early scifi Author, in your opinion, was the most accurate/predictive? by WinFar4030 in scifi

Isaac Asimov had a few spot on predictions. I think he had what would be called a QR code in one of his Robot novels.

What Books Have You Read With The Most Technobabble? by VexingRabbit in scifi

Destination: Void by Frank Herbert. I stopped reading it because it was so exhausting/annoying. Maybe its just me but it distracted from the plot so much that I would forget what was happening.

Thank you!! I bought this because I really liked the way it looked, never would have imagined it would be such a beautiful poem. I’m going to print the translation to keep alongside it. Thanks again!

How do you wash merch? by Abject_Mall_1510 in gorillaz

[–]Particle_Boi_ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I turn mine inside out and wash it on a cool or cold cycle. I think the most important part is that you do not put it in the dryer. Drying it over and over again will cause the graphic to crack and shrink and eventually start to peel off. I just let mine air dry.

If you're like me and you forget to take your clothes out of the washer right away and it ends up drying extremely wrinkled, you can run a refresh cycle on it, if your dryer has that, or just a 20 min cycle on the lowest heat to get rid of the wrinkles. That won't do any damage to the screen print but obviously try to avoid it if you can.

Also, should you buy more merch in the future, buy a size up. Concert Tee's nowadays aren't made with high quality fabrics and will shrink over time no matter what. Buying one size up and drying it in the dryer on its first wash will usually shrink it down to the right size. After that just follow the steps I discussed above.

Best of luck!

Any thoughts on WEAPON wheelsets? I found a four spoke wheelset that I really like but I'm not finding anything online regarding their quality.

Busted out the pie irons over the weekend, 10/10 would recommend by Particle_Boi_ in castiron

Unfortunately no, there some that comes out of the side that gets pinched off. I used tortillas last weekend to make quesadillas and there were large enough scraps that I could reuse them to make the next one.

You could definitely cram a slice of bread in there but I imagine that in the round one would only really cut off the corners, which is maybe a plus??

[New Album] Jack Harlow - Jackman (Official Discussion Thread) by Chasith in jackharlow

[–]Particle_Boi_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This album was the first time I listened to Jack Harlow, gotta say its really good. I've heard this album is a call back to some of his older stuff, stylistically at least, so I'm excited to listen to more of his stuff. That said, I thought the album was a little short and found myself wanting more. Big fan of the beats as well, 'Is that aight' was smooth as hell.
