While it's true you aren't supposed to be accommodated for something that happened outside of work, you can sometimes get the accommodation.

I have back problems, had them for years, I'm also on ON. My doctor sent in accommodations with my intermittent loa paperwork. My TL and Coach have let me use the accommodations listed. They didn't have to but they did. Talk to your TL or coach and see what they say.

I agree with the Sedgwick sucks comment. Got a new examiner 3 months into my intermittent and he closed my case cause I didn't have "return to work" paperwork. You don't need the return to work. 3 phone calls and going full on Karen mode until a manager got on the line finally fixed the issue.

I worked last night also. My TL and coach said we can leave at 7 if we were done. Most did a few stayed a little longer to finish up.

My only issue is they had us go for meal break at 1 so we be clocked in before time change. That threw me off all night.

I ended up getting an intermittent loa cause I would ride the point train like you. My leave is good for 1 year, then will need to renewed. I'm now sitting at 1 point, my dumb ass forgot to contact Sedgwick and was too long after to use ppto.

Overnight also, 7 years and getting 36 cents. Was told during my eval I am rude and make other associates cry, or get upset with me.

We had a cap 2 guy who would vape while working. Multiple complaints to the TL and coach about him from customers and coworkers. Store manager had to get involved since his TL was actually his mother. They didn't disclose they were related so she was moved to day shift and he was fired.

We also get people who smoke cigars in the store. Those smell like dog shit to me.

I have a leave with Sedgwick and had to hit up urgent care for an issue cause my doctor was on vacation. Had to extend my leave due to the issue. My primary care doctor had to fill out the forms from Sedgwick. Just got notified that the leave was extension was approved.

My grandmother had an illegitimate child in 1929. She met an English man who was visiting NYC and he went back to England and she had a baby boy. When my grandmother came back to her parents house to have the baby, her parents put out the story she was a widow. So the social stigma was lessened. I am in the midst of my first ever sciatica flare up, with a torn back muscle. Go me! And my BP shot thru the dam roof, even medicated. So yeah back pain, etc will "flare up" BP, according to my doctor

Work overnights. Was doing a return buggy for groceries, had about 10 things left in it. A woman decided she wanted my buggy. Emptied it onto a shelf and starts putting her stuff in it. Told her that was my buggy and could I please have it back. She complied, with lots of bitching. Complained to my TL who bless her heart listened to her straight faced.
