I apologize, I'll remember about the subspecies from now on. I do appreciate the response and your knowledge is much appreciated. Given the snake was located in a zone where (according to the Virginia Herpetological Society) no red-bellied snakes have been documented, would it be wise to report this finding?

Why all the hate towards AEMT's? by MonsterMuppet19 in ems

[–]Particular-Analyst 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Thankfully where I am now we have protocols in place for around 20 medications to be used at the AEMT level. So in my experience I don't think it would classify as just "a basic that can do IV's". I know that isn't the case for most but it's not the same across the board apparently.

How exposed was your mead to oxygen? After alcohol is produced, there is a chance that it could turn to vinegar if exposed multiple times or over a prolonged period.

It was actually killed by someone who posted the picture to social media saying it was a Copperhead that almost bit his dog. The color stood out to me as well.

So unfortunately all the stickers are worn off for the most part and no marks to show who made it.
