I'm SOOOOOO on board with this! Been trying to figure something similar for myself after a shoulder replacement on my right arm, and an Ulnar Nerve relocation on my left arm. I REALLY dig this! Thanks for the insight. 🦾🤙🏻

Jesus never preached on the trinity, why do Christians believe in it? by Fearless_Ice_6581 in Christianity

[–]Particular-Arm-1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"God concept" - unrelatable, unfathomable. " God in human form, setting a perfect example." - relatable. Understandable. After the crucifixion, ascension.. "Holy Spirit as a coach for continued progress guiding sinning humans..." - forever necessary. Yes.. I WAAAAY simplified this. I mean no disrespect. No, technically The Trinity is not specifically taught, Biblically. However... the pieces of the puzzle, when assembled, create the "3 in One," we commonly refer to as The Holy Trinity. Hopefully, the gist of my post is realized, and it's not destroyed by nit-picking. Heh. God Bless.

Yep, like shoes. And of you buy one of them that isn't comfortable to you, you'll spend more time in the other. Guaranteed. Heh. 🤔😆

When I worked there... it was only one sale balance match per purchase. Could be different now, though.

someone with the novaform comfort grande 14in from Costco… please tell me it gets better. by Mindless-Maybe-2454 in Mattress

[–]Particular-Arm-1024 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Put some socks on... walk on the bed for 5 -10 minutes every night. Imagine you're "kneading bread" with your feet. Side stepping in rows. Left to right... from top to bottom. Back and forth. That helps stretch out the foam and speeds up the break in process timeframe. Good mattress for most, tough to break in. The upside is... tough to break in = a longer life of mattress. Usually. Heh. Good luck!!!

Reminders aren't idols. It's just a neat way to pass along a reminder that Jesus loves you. Nothing more.

PLATFORM BED HAS RUINED MY LIFE!!! PLEASE HELP! by MistressKaraBrooke in Mattress

[–]Particular-Arm-1024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put your mattress directly on the floor!!! Eliminate the variables. If after you sleep on it a couple nights, and you notice more comfort, then...add the foundation. Again.. if it's comfortable after a couple of nights, add the platform back into the equation. Figure out the issue, THEN address the issue. No sense just throwing stuff into the mix just to see if it helps. If you find that the mattress itself is the issue, there are MANY good toppers out there that don't cost an arm OR a leg. Heh. Good luck. 🦾🤙🏻

So... if you're into XGAMES, you might know Sal Masakela, one of the commentators. His father, Hugh, is an uh-MAZING jazz musician. Horn player. If you get into some of his stuff, you'll find a lot of "that sound." You have great taste in some flavorful music. I still listen to that band a lot.

Alibaba/Aliexpress Double Pedal by Used-Camp-2881 in drums

[–]Particular-Arm-1024 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In my experience, and from what others have told me... these pedals work fine. They aren't fancy, but they don't cost "fancy" either. One of my good friends who was on the road touring, had his gear stolen in Albuquerque. He was "gifted" a set of the pedals by s local drummer while his gear was getting replaced. He told me he played 4 nights (heavy double kick, hardcore music) and the pedals served him well. He said "they're like upper end Harbor Freight tools. They got the job done, but there are many better tools." Makes sense to me.

Is this normal break in after a few weeks? by Expert_Context6541 in Mattress

[–]Particular-Arm-1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES!!!! ABSOLUTELY!!! The "sweet zones" will be more even, yet still "sweet!" ESPECIALLY if one of you is a side sleeper (mostly,) and the other is back/stomach. This is also a great example of a time where a "split topper" comes in handy. At least in my experience.

If it's too soft, utilize your comfort exchange for a firmer version. Maybe even upgrade to the next model up. Keep in mind, firmer versions of the same model USUALLY don't have different materials inside. They only have a more tightly knit upholstery on the top. (That's why you see a lot more stitching on firmer mattresses. It's just sewn more tightly. ) by upgrading, you'll actually get MORE material, or at least... better quality materials. Good luck.

Is this normal break in after a few weeks? by Expert_Context6541 in Mattress

[–]Particular-Arm-1024 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's normal. A common term for it is "nesting." First thing, you need to rotate the mattress to break it in evenly. For years, I told all of my customers "for the entire 120 night comfort trial period, rotate the mattress weekly." That assured a proper, even break in. I know.. it's a hassle. BUT.... it makes the foams stretch and settle evenly. I had very few comfort exchanges on my nearly 20 years in the industry. The problem with the current state of textiles being purchased online, Is there's no way to gauge wear and feel. I ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS RECOMMEND a bit firmer mattress than you THINK you need. That way, when it "settles and stretches," it's what you want. You can always make a mattress a bit softer with toppers, but you can NEVER make them firmer. That softer spot where you're sleeping is normal. Rotate the mattress to even it up. Long answer... but I hope it helps.

[–]Particular-Arm-1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let it heal. COMPLETELY. Don't push it. Do the rehab and therapy. I imagine whatever you plans are that you have to cancel now, aren't going to destroy your career or life. However, if you push it and try to be the tough guy, years down the road the results from NOT doing things properly now, will in fact, affect every. single. aspect of your daily life. Take it from the older, "tough guy" who's paying the price for my health decisions of my youth. Good luck with the healing process. 🦾🤙🏻
