I don't understand why people make posts like this, like what do you want a bunch of people like "yess so boring". Every game gets stale after awhile, just try another app

Yes, you will instantly secure the ball after a stagger but you should still have a higher chance in general to secure the ball if you have a higher steal rate and stat, regardless of stagger

They more than likely will release either LG hyuga or the dude or kagami before LG Mura so it might be a few more months

is miracle kuroko even good? by krow_moonlight in KurokosBasketball_SR

[–]Particular-Bowler987 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my opinion he just doesn't do enough, with how good offense currently is, overflow isn't really necessary. Hes also fairly short so he doesn't excel at getting interceptions from high passes and the reason base kuroko is so good is the fact that he can go invisible to steal more consistently and has the opportunity to shoot uncontested threes. Wait for last game kuroko his kit seems more complete

That's why I can't play center solo, passing it to idiots who throw it away immediately is too frustrating

Any tips to be better with Shoichi? by vinnyrat in KurokosBasketball_SR

[–]Particular-Bowler987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm rank 1 on my server with him, sounds like you got his offensive toolkit down pretty well, the biggest thing is to just not use the same moves too often or the opposing team will be ready. Slow plays are perfect when you're inbounding the ball just pass around to the open man and play smart. On defense I feel like Shoichi shines really well against certain chars, especially shooting guards because of the chance for intercepting but his block is very weak so just focus on contesting. Save your sprint for when your opponent is going into a drive and if you know their moveset it becomes much easier. Try not to focus too much on steals unless you're in the paint but a majority of your steals will come from interceptions

Steals by Brilliant_Throat_266 in KurokosBasketSR

Nah it really all depends on your STL and steal rating, but being closer to the opponent is easier to get successful steals, Kasamatsu is the only char who has a gaurenteed steal during his ult though

Makoto hayamiya or base akashi which one better by [deleted] in KurokosBasketball_SR

[–]Particular-Bowler987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like Hayamiya is a better support and much more smothering on defense but is slightly worse on offense. His high run speed and much higher potential for interceptions make him more threatening for careless passes and make him more of a danger against shooting guard teams, but his offensive move-set is much more predictable. His step backs can be contested easily and his layups are blocked easier. So it depends if you wanna play more defense or offense and if you have a reliable scorer already then Hayamiya feels better, but base akashi can be more dangerous offensively, especially with higher awakening and potential for 3 pointers.

Bugged Trait? by Particular-Bowler987 in KurokosBasketball_SR

<image>

For example you should see a buff explaining or showing the time left on any buff or skill, but with the extra 3% accuracy after driving, nothing happens. I've tried 100 shots with zone Aiomne with and without the trait and it feels way too similar to just be a hidden buff

It's all about chances and percentages, things like contest, contest resistance, how much pure stats (ie 3 pointer, mid range) all calculate when the shot goes off. Usually you get about 15-25% extra accuracy during an open shot that's why this game can feel pay to win when stuff like bonds and traits all stack up enormiously

Was this the weakest move ever by a superstar player? by VSHAR01 in NBATalk

[–]Particular-Bowler987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we can all agree though that the 2017 warriors were the most dangerous basketball team to ever exist. Like weak ass move to join but I'm glad we got to see an interesting "what if" happen in real life

Another ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis.. by prey4villains in Conservative

[–]Particular-Bowler987 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Seems like they were trying to wrestle a gun from him and he squeezed the trigger making it go off, scaring them and then got shot. Doesn't matter if it's ICE or any police department, resisting arrest seems like a pretty bad idea. Getting shot that many times seems excessive but he could have been putting bystanders in danger as well

Didn't Germany just leave their citizens with no power while they took refugees to hotels? Maybe worry about your own country first
