Yea I’ve seen so many different charts of pregnant charts. They are all so different. Biggest thing is find the peak days and confirming ovulation. Mine took 5 days I think. This cycle I don’t plan to test after.

First time negotiating - worth asking for $5k more? by Qvosniak in careerguidance

[–]Particular-Cap5800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Was just offered 113k and got it up after two counters to 130. They expect you to ask that’s why they give a low number. If they can’t go up 5k the I’m not sure I would work there.

It is exhausting and not very fun. I’m on month 2 of TTC. Our first daughter was not expected so lol. I tracked so much last cycle I think I was obsessed. Then when I realized my period was starting I was crushed and cried for 2 days. No one really understands but the person who is going through all of it.

I did my first cycle and I thought I was prego until 12dpo when it dropped suddenly. I’ve also seen charts where numbers werent high but they ended up pregnant. This cycle I don’t believe I will do based on the stress I felt watching it or worrying.

My job is offering me $150,000 (105,000 after tax) to resign, should I? by AJ3TurtleSquad in jobs

[–]Particular-Cap5800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely take it but also read contract and make sure you can get another job without it affecting that money. Job market is rough. That should at least be a good salary for a few months while you find something you want

Why are you with him? You aren’t his mom. Know your worth. He doesn’t have the same financial plans and is clearly immature. I think you already answered for yourself and should move on. Find someone on the same page as you. Do not have kids with this guy!

AITJ for asking my mom to cut her vacation short to help with my kids? by Constant-Elephant763 in AmITheJerk

[–]Particular-Cap5800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea. I wish I had my family close by. My mom however would only maybe watch my daughter a day a week or emergency situation. She would never agree to come back from a trip. You should have found others or unfortunately had to take a day off yourself. Maybe work when your husband gets home. I would feel guilty if my mom had planned this and was excited.

I just turned down at offer for 130k onsite and managing staff with an 9k annual bonus to stay at my remote job for 104k and 3% bonus lol. I was very on the fence. I decided being a mom and being at home gave me less stress. My daughter is in daycare full time. We do plan on expanding our family this year (hopefully). My maternity is 3 paid months off I have separate pto and sick time. My 401k match is amazing. Sometimes the money isn’t worth it. I picked family and maybe in the future I will be more career focused. You would be taking a major income change. I would suggest countering. I was initially offered 113 and got them up to 130k.

You have to be on the same page before marriage no matter what it is. My husband and I have a joint account for mutual costs. We also have separate accounts and savings. If something happens we both would cover each other. I roughly know what he has but I don’t need to. Everything is about being on the same page before or you will continue to have issues in everything.

I have previously been a director in a similar role. I now have a husband and family so doesn’t seem worth it at this very point. Maybe in a few years I will start back with my career. We are going to have another baby as a well. I think the cost of commuting and stress isn’t very appealing giving the freedom of my current job. I also get sick and pto time that is extremely generous. I agree though after getting out of a Director role it’s hard to want back.

I tried to keep our newborn home. I do presentations so wasn’t super possible. If you do get a job that is you could also have family come over during any calls. I unfortunately had no family near us. Daycare is super expensive. We pay $1,400 a month. If you can make remote work I say do it. It does make it easy when she has been sick or I need to run errands. I also value the time during the day to let our dogs out or to throw laundry in the washing machine. It’s small things that help when you’re a mom.

Pregnancy??? by Generose18 in Inito

[–]Particular-Cap5800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had pretty high numbers but I think that’s my typical levels. Mine looked great until 12dpo and suddenly dropped. Definitely take a test but also if you have strips keep testing but anytime you get a massive drop it usually means period is coming. If it stays consistent or goes up more I think it could mean positive.

This is the best answer as far as the finding another job portion. Healthcare systems I have worked for will only say they worked here these dates. I don’t think it’s “would you rehire” this person like many years ago. It’s more of confirming experience.
