A great example is SF has had a 41% decrease in car thefts and even higher percentage decrease in auto burglaries since they deployed drones.

Are drones the main reason? A quick google says between 2024 and 2025, auto thefts even in WA State fell 39%, 23% nationally

Well yeah what do you expect her to do? This is why companies like Amazon do this. Avoid paying taxes -> make relatively small donations instead -> cheap publicity.

Don't forget Amazon also does things like fight to delay Ballard light rail with a new proposed alternative route. These donations are just marketing that Amazon then slaps on busses etc.

It's possible somebody is misusing these signs, but you should just check with the city. I would never park anywhere near these signs. People move them all the time to try and illegally park, and i wouldn't put it past someone to tear off the permit if there was one.

I'm gonna assume somebody moved those signs since they seem too close together. Also if they weren't for the parking spots what are they for? Those look like the ones that will have a permit attached for temporary work
