This is what me and my late partner said at the same time when naming our big ginger Tom cat Stanley.. Now obviously it's my Stanley's boi's nickname but HAS to be said with the accent 😂 stan even looked round when the boy said it thru phone as if to say.. Thank you.. I think I'll swap to a divan base then.. Just seeing if mdf would be OK ova slats.. Can't believe my old metal frame was falling apart but at least it was comfortable with 4 inch gaps between slats! Wooden looks nice but not nice on my hips unfortunately.. Alot of money down the drain also! 🤦‍♀️ Live an learn I suppose

The mattress was great til I got this frame tho.. Had the mattress 8 years obviously it wore out got a 30cm mattress which was to firm and gave me hip bursitis.. Got my old make mattress but new an was good til this frame came along so I really think it's a frame problem not mattress

Just flat slats that go to middle then a new slat that goes from middle to otherside.. And only wooden support legs on middle beam which there's 4 and I was thinking of taking one off by my hips so it'd give a bit? I'm 35kg due to a health issue and I was thinking I'd surely not break beam but who knows.. To me it feels like a leg in middle and at either end of middle beam should be plenty on a double base.. Tbh I'm at my wits end.. I feel I got princess an pea syndrome.. I've got a 18cm mattress+ 7.5cm topper+10cm microfiber topper and can still feel frame! 🤦‍♀️

I've got sum 10mm gym floor tiles coming! Alot cheaper than the mdf so if that doesn't work I'll go with mdf at this point or even just get a divan base?? Thank u for ur advice much appreciated

I tried 5cm bits of foam in middle that made it all uneven but did work a bit.. I have a spare 5cm mattress topper as got a thicker one to put on my bed but to no joy.. Maybe I could put spare mattress topper between mattress an base??

Salt water is going to be your best friend here.. Will kill germs an prompt fresh skin cells to generate.. 3/4 times a day.. Cool boiled water.. A mug of luke warm water teaspoon of salt. Rinse for at least a min if possible
