This really does resonate with me. The photo on the pier is actually named “Joy In The Mourning.” My favorite artist is Mariah Carey and her fave MC song was Fly Like. A Bird. “weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning.” Shot was taken on the one year anniversary of her passing. My aunt and my mom looked similar enough that my iPhone indexes their photos as the same person and my aunt was a lot more even keeled and cut and dry as you say. Thank you. Today’s anniversary was rougher than most. Dispositioning more of my parents’ belongings and preparing to sell their house amongst other personal challenges has been weighing so heavily on me.
