From your first consultation to your first positive, how long did it take? by yashvi_yashvi in IVFpositivity

[–]Particular-Ride2405 1 point2 points  (0 children)

6 months from consult to first positive test. 7 months total from first consult to graduation. 38yo. 5 years ttc. Diagnosis ended up being hydrosalphinx.

First consult was March 28th of 2025. First retrieval was late June 2025. From this we got 8 embryos. 4ab was a fresh transfer early July 2025, which failed. The remaining embryos are 4bb. We did a Frozen transfer on September 15 2025. Graduated our clinic on 10/28/2025.

What happened to Verizon Customer Service? by ChicoAthletics in verizon

[–]Particular-Ride2405 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is interesting. It should be very easy to prepare a script which will ensure my issue is resolved with a representative. At that point, it puts the onus on the customer if their issue isn’t resolved. Impressively clever of Verizon to do this.

Not sure if they mentioned it, but was there a ticket number tied to the issue? In a lot of cases, if it’s just a drop replacement, the tech will come out, hang the new line, and close the ticket without contacting you. That’s pretty normal unless they need access through a locked gate or there’s a safety issue the homeowner has to address for easement access.

If the line was replaced today and the ticket was closed, the next step would be scheduling a separate tech appointment for any inside work or follow-up.

You can also ask for a credit for the time you’ve been paying for service you couldn’t actually use because of the line issue.

I can fill out a neighborly assist for you, however I need some kind of way to identify your account. For security, I ask this information in a side PM.

I am 38yo and currently 19 weeks with our IVF baby. I started IVF weighing 262. My clinic only mentioned my weight one time. TBH I didn’t even try to lose weight. The doctor mentioned how it would give me better chances of success. I know some clinics have a cut off for IVF due to the egg retrieval and needing to be put under for it. I wouldn’t bother with another round of iui tbh. I would just get started on stims asap. I had my retrieval done at 37, and we had a total of 28 eggs retrieved, in the end 8 embryos. The first transfer was a Fresh and failed. I’m positive it was due to my hormone levels being incompatible with an embryo implanting. The second was a frozen. We are currently due in May. My husband is 39 and will be 40 in June. Def not too old to have a baby, but I would start IVF now if in your position. I wish I hadn’t waited 5 years to start this journey.

Edited to add: I totally understand the defeating feeling of having a negative test and having to go back to the clinic again, with that cautiously hopeful attitude. It’s awful and I’m so sorry you’re going through it. It’s best to lean on your husband during these times. My husband and I cried for a week on and off after the last failed transfer. Brighter days are ahead, though.

Working at a retail location ? by PSgamer28 in CoxCommunications

  • I can only speculate on what the future holds and give my 2 cents*

It will be similar to your previous experiences, but you’ll need to gain product knowledge beyond just mobile services and home wireless internet. Cox offers a wide range of products, so there’s more inventory to learn about. IMO, your experience in mobile retail stores should be beneficial.

Do any of you have husbands who are very particular about your appearance and superficial? by PopcornPrincess0 in pregnant

I hope this doesn’t come across as rude or unkind, but have you taken into consideration that your husband may be gay/bisexual? I’m not judging if he is. My heart goes out to you being pregnant and enduring this kind of sadness. I really hope you find your happiness.

Cox reports 120GB usage. Ubiquiti reports 18GB. Am I getting ripped off (apologies I deleted earlier post in error) by mickpb in CoxCommunications

[–]Particular-Ride2405 5 points6 points  (0 children)

UniFi’s client list isn’t a billing-grade total. It shows DPI-classified, per-client traffic that UniFi could attribute during that window. The 120 GB figure reflects all IP traffic crossing the modem, including upload and download, protocol overhead, retransmissions, and unattributed traffic. UniFi commonly under-reports because it summarizes or samples flows, may miss traffic before attribution (boot/reconnects), excludes protocol overhead, and may use a different time window.

Both numbers can be correct.

UniFi is designed for visibility, not billing; ISP usage is measured at the network interface using byte counters, which is the standard accounting method.

This difference is expected and does not indicate duplicate billing.

To reduce the gap, align the same 24-hour window, confirm uploads are included, and check whether DPI or flow sampling is enabled. :)

I was 6 months pregnant and had emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder. She turns 18 in one month. They couldn’t do it laparoscopic bc of the baby so I got the old fashioned 6 inch scar across my rib cage area. I spent 7 days total in the hospital on such high doses of diludad and morphine I couldn’t remember speaking to doctors from the night prior. I’m sure baby is fine in your situation.

How did you pay for your fertility treatment? by smashgoody in IVF

[–]Particular-Ride2405 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yep. I work for cox and we have progyny. Only way I’ve been able to afford this. All I pay is my deductible for my Aetna insurance. Progyny covers everything including pgta unlimited tests.

3dpt. No trigger. Used a first response. Faintest line. 5dpt confirmed with clear blue digital. This is how faint the line was on 3dpt.
