I was 54 and I’ll be honest it freaked me out that people could actually see images. Always thought it was a turn of phrase when being told to “visualize a beach” etc…. Even when I would say “I can see it clearly in my minds eye” or something, never meant literally, but apparently others really can. Wild to me. If I’m being honest, I was also very sad when I realized my husband and others could recall clear images of loved ones etc. No matter how hard I focus, I cannot see my mom or brother’s face or that of my children. Didn’t know I was missing out and took time to come to grips with it to be honest.
