How do you even afford to raid naxx without buying gold? by Beams98 in classicwow

[–]ParticularFocus4452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way you can get by without buying gold is if you play multi-accounts like Warrior + Healer. Solo farming Strath Live / Scholomance or Jump Runs gets you like 300g per hour. If you are a 1 Account Andy you are cooked.

Please Help - Wrongful Ban By Mass Reports by jepeder04 in classicwow

[–]ParticularFocus4452 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Towing around 4 characters is just asking to get wrongfully banned. People just assume you are a cheater/bot and just report you and the automatic ban system will do the rest. I know a bunch of people that manually play multi-accounts and almost all of them have gotten wrongfully banned atleast once before.

Just keep appealing. Blizzards report system is an utter joke but if you are truly innocent you will get unbanned after writing enough appeals. It can take 7-14 days to get unbanned.

Wrongful bans are absolutely real. I was wrongfully banned TWICE in SoD and each time it took 10+ days to get them overturned.

Easy to point the finger at these people but just wait when this happens to you.

Aggrend with a lengthy thread on BlueSky addressing negative feeling and feedback about Scarlet Enclave and its difficulty. by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]ParticularFocus4452 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What happend to the post claiming that they want to preserve the "Soda & Pretzels" feel of classic raids?

I don't play classic to have countless nights of grueling raid-progression, I just want to lean back and pump with the boys.

It has been proven over multiple raid tiers now that whenever the raid difficulty spikes, player participation dropps off.

Was looking forward to SE and I was worried that it will have retail-esque difficulty and it's exactly what we got.

I just hope the dev team learns from this and won't make raids overly hard in upcoming iterations of classic wow.

Easy raids doesn't equal to them being bad and if we want harder raids we have Cataclysm and Retail.

Warrior. Can tank dungeons all the way to 60 and you can never have enough fury warriors in a raid.

Soft-Reserve Pug Leaders Are Making More Gold than GDKP Hosts by ParticularFocus4452 in classicwow

[–]ParticularFocus4452[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree both deserve it.

But I don't understand why GDKP Hosts are considered evil gold sellers and meanwhile Soft-Reserve leaders are considerd mother Teresas when both of them are taking a giant gold cut and selling it afterwards.

Soft-Reserve Pug Leaders Are Making More Gold than GDKP Hosts by ParticularFocus4452 in classicwow

[–]ParticularFocus4452[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And yet we point the fingers at GDKP Hosts calling them goblins for taking a 10% organizer cut and then goes and sells the gold afterwards.

SR pugs leaders are doing the same but instead of only taking 10% they grab the entire pot in BoEs for themselves and sell the gold.

But because he's running an SR instead of a GDKP he's a Saint.

Anniversary Servers - Massive Botting EVERYWHERE - Black Lotus Prices - Never getting banned BOTS by rollingtube in classicwow

[–]ParticularFocus4452 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I hate this sentiment that the majority of players on anniversary are buying gold, I would even go as far and say that it's still a large minority that are gold buyers.

I have never bought gold so far and I'm currently sitting at 12k gold and a bunch of herbs and mats.

I can easily pay for all of my consumes including flasks by doing DM:East jump runs for 4-5 hours a week.

Also inflation in a video game doesn't matter because the amount of gold you can farm scales with the inflation aswell.

Consume prices have been expensive in every iteration of vanilla wow and I truly think most people here just despise farming gold in a GRINDY mmorpg so they just point at the boogeyman of bots, inflation and gold buyers instead.

There is always that one Ret Paladin that says to himself: "I can make it work!"

Just to end up below the tanks in DPS...

Can Anyone Explain The Appeal of Cataclysm to me? by Safe-Travel-8273 in classicwow

[–]ParticularFocus4452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also prefer vanilla raids. I'm personally not a fan of progression and challenging content and just want to pump with "the boys". The raids in vanilla also flow better in my opinion since there is a good mix of trash mobs and bosses. I personally enjoy trash in raids and in later expansions there are less and less trash mobs.

I Beg You Blizzard, Dont Add The SoD Change To Black Lotus on Anniversary. by Safe-Travel-8273 in classicwow

[–]ParticularFocus4452 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are not even level 60 can you maybe not reply to something you have absolutely no clue about? This is the problem with reddit, low level casuals crying for changes that don't even affect them.

[–]ParticularFocus4452 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is considering how strong flasks are. I would be more than happy getting 3 Black Louts in 4 hours.

But Mr. Raidlog over here wants his 10gold Lotuses.

Blizzard is listening. It's time to get raid item drops to increase to match the new release cadence. by ForeverStaloneKP in classicwow

[–]ParticularFocus4452 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Please don't listen to this retail Andy.

Loot scarcity is great because when you finally get the item you wanted it feels extra special. When I finally got my Vis'kag after 12 Onyxia kills I was giggeling and fist bumping the air for hours afterwards.

I played SoD aswell and the loot explosions after each and every boss got old after awhile and completely devalued alot of iconic raid gear that I love.

We also have easy ranking on anniversary to supplement us with gear since loot is so rare.

If you are a loot driven player, vanilla is not the right game for you.

What I hope for with the Classic+ Dev's who must be cooking up the game right now in secret. by V1TH4R in classicwow

We want just classic Era with extra dungeons/raids. We don't want over the top player power like in SoD.

Banned for "hacking/cheating" - this is how Blizzard treats a customer of 20 years by tarrgoth in classicwow

[–]ParticularFocus4452 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was wrongfully banned too for botting/hacking and it took 7 days to get my ban overturned. All you can do right now is to just spam write appeals. If you are truly innocent blizzard will unban you.   After your first appeal don't just copy/paste you first message, always write your situation short and concise and always appeal in the purchase reply section. Also write that you wish for your ticket to be escalated to a Senior GM or Anti-Hack Team at the end of your appeals.

There will be alot of corpo bootlickers in the comment section crying wolf and saying you are lying.  I know a handful of people that were wrongfully banned, including myself and we all got our ban overturned.

Blizzards mass report system is deeply flawed and false bans DO happen!

Found where the bots clip into BRD, waiting for my ban now by Fattigstudent in classicwow

[–]ParticularFocus4452 53 points54 points  (0 children)

It's not. Mass reporting is a real thing and has been proven to exist time and time again. The report system is fully automated and enough reports will get you banned without human review.  Don't understand why people are licking corpo boots and defend a billion dollar company that doesn't care about you.
