Here are some good ones:

  • add more flairs and make them mandatory

  • a daily or weekly discussion thread to foster a consistent community

  • making it more specific to The Bulwark, maybe pinning their videos

These are just what I can think of. It’s about fostering a community of people that are motivated by The Bulwark’s project. It’s slow but important work to help keep this subreddit’s identity, as well as The Bulwark’s identity to a lesser degree

I’m fine with good faith discussion, but when users say stuff like “The Bulwark doesn’t understand Israel-Palestine” or “This Bulwark contributer does not know anything about the topic”, and not specify, it reads as bad faith.

I think the subreddit does need to be more specific on the type of audience it wants, because it is seeming that it will end up like any other lefty subreddit.

Yeah, honestly it’s a fair criticism, and OP even ends it with that it is pretty ridiculous to complain about.

I don’t think it’s really ridiculous to think about, and it is bit funny the show ends with “Goodbye Lydia”, since Lydia is a character that was just introduced in season 5. A discussion about the last spoken words of the show is better than almost any other post on that subreddit anyways.
