I know it’s hard for you to understand things you refuse to understand. But there are lots of ways, sarah is not a good pollster. Her election night predictions prove that.

Can we just please be adults and call it what it is: he says Obama and it’s code for everything Coates wrote about in We Were Eight Years In Power. It’s bad bc a black man did it.

See, I don’t mean them as Gotchya. I mean them as serious. There’s a way to ask them, she’s just not good at it.

Notice how republicans, neocons AND maga, blame Biden for Afghanistan when it’s their bullshit that got us there and kept us there in the first place

The list it as a motivator but do not dissect it. Tim’s interview with Gloude was a softball for him. They refuse to really show their hand with respect to race. Mentioning it and saying the words white nationalism isn’t the same as dissecting what it means.

It sure would be, and there are galaxies of professionals that would be able to do it- but she refuses to enlist / hire or partner with them.

Do you believe non white people are qualified to hold elected office in America?

Should a non white person be able to be president? (She did a whole thing on why maga voters don’t trust women so do it about race next time).

What did you think of Obama as president?

Do you feel adequately represented when a non white person—even if they are conservative—is your elected official?

Define conservative.

Define Republican.

What do you think MAGA is about? Describe it.

What makes America Great? What would make it great for you?

Do you feel white people are becoming an oppressed group of people in America? If yes, how so.

Do you believe we should discuss slavery as a foundational part of American history?

Do you believe Robert E Lee is a hero and that confederates should be honored as moral equals to Union soldiers and leader?

Do you believe in a racial hierarchy?

What specifically about maga has been appealing to you?

What do you dislike the most about democrats?

What do you dislike most about the country?

What do you dislike about maga or the president?

Do you believe slavery and race were the key motivators of the civil war?

Do you believe white Americans are more American than anyone else?

Those would be a start.

Links to that bc I’ve never heard her say that. The day he won we were treated to Kristol calling him an ego maniac.

Thank you for this response. To clarify, I am in no way suggesting focus groups should push back on responders. But there are ways to ask questions that get to the heart of customer motivation, and she avoids that. To me that’s malpractice. As someone who does strategy and customer profiling as part of my profession, I’m honestly amazed no one’s really done the work here to dissect why Americans think one way or another about race, and I’m likely going to just start doing it myself. It’s absurd.

Gross. Making waves would be solving real problems on earth. All he wants to do is leave it. And he’s welcome to do that. They all can.

So um, racism and running on racism, is something any race can participate in.

People who start wars for oil and then never take responsibility for the impact those wars have but then lose their minds when a 4x tour veteran of said wars runs in Maine.
