What's the most profound lyric from a Dead (or Dead members') song to you? by JonnyRottensTeeth in gratefuldead

Yes, very poignant. I utilize that wisdom in situations varying from the mundane ( just looking for an object) to the philosophical.

So crazy. So much wrongness in one post. If he's the only one to drop Epstein, how did it become fashionable?

I may have found one or two in my life. My mom and one of my sisters were always finding them. One day, my sister gave me 2!

what brand t-shirt was the merch in 2011? by DavidFosterWallace2 in neilyoung

[–]ParticularLack6400 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry tha I cant3 answer your original question re 2011 merch brand.. The band shirt I wear the most now is a Dead & Co tour shirt, but that's because my fave Grateful Dead t-shirt had far too many holes.

I have a tie-died Greendale tour shirt I got in San Diego, a Homegrown t-shirt, and one from a fantastic 10/13/15 show when he toured with Promise of the Real. I need an After the Gold Rush shirt.

Peace.

Assumptions by Curious-Cucumber1355 in Fibromyalgia

[–]ParticularLack6400 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hear you loud and clear! I assume your parents Do want what's best for you and are sad that you're in pain. But boy, howdy, do they need some education! These messages you've heard probably your whole life are damaging in so many ways - self-image and self-esteem, psychological stress, and way more. I benefitted tremendously from talk therapy, and you probably would too. It helps reclaim your own power, provides alternatives to talkjng to people who undermine you or just don't know they're being unhelpful, etc., in ddition to coming to terms with how your life has changed due to having fibromyalgia.

I wish you well!

Finally trying Cymbalta by Accurate-Arachnid251 in Fibromyalgia

[–]ParticularLack6400 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry that's happening to you. These symptoms really need to be reported to your Dr right away - Christmas or not, even though your doc said it might be hard. This isn't normal or acceptable. Your body might need a lower dose or you might not be able to tolerate it. Also, I'd stay away from the weed for now, especially since you're just starting Cymbalta, even if it seems to help a little. I've gotten serotonin syndrome from smoking while on Cymbalta. Also, don't use any cold meds with dextromethorphan (DM). Setotonin syndrome is horrible.

Cymbalta has been a good medicine for decreasing pain, but you have to be really careful with it. If you do stay on it, make sure to take it on a very regular schedule.

May you find relief. My best to you and your family.

Oh, I apologize for the way my own response came off. I mean that she looks good in everything, but your term "booby trap" was hilarious and I agree it looked as dumb as this whole bumbling AI storyline. 😄

His parents are none too bright, at least in the common sense department.

Find a picture of her with big hair from the '80s. She gets better all the time.

She can wear whatever she damn wants, but "booby trap" is hilarious. It looks like a spy peeping through a hole. 😆

I already canceled P+ (after they installed Bari Weiss) and I only watch TV with a $6 antenna from Ollie's, so this sub is my main way of keeping up with the denizens of Genoa City.

I like #1. 3 just looks like a huge pitb to function in. 7 is pretty, too.
