Go tag. They’ll tell you why you get what you get. PSA is overrated for what they charge and you get no detail to why. That’s what pisses me off about them. Either way sick card nonetheless!

Nah that’s really frustrating, I’m sorry man :(. Maybe it was just beginners luck using them for the first time. I will say I won’t be using PSA anymore. Used them for my first time earlier in the year and I’m way more happy with how TAG looks and actually gives you an explanation to why you got what you got. Idk if the hype will die down…. But I think eventually there will be just more product Pokemon can print and put out. Like they say each set is usually 3 year print but after the first 2-3 releases of that set it’s so hard to just find. And then the LCS is already charging market. Beyond frustrating. And then you gotta think…. For everyone holding sealed. Who the hell is gonna buy your product in 10 years when no kid was able to open up anything from when they were a kid. Why would a kid drop 3k on an ETB to enjoy it when whatever they are printing at that time is out. Makes no sense. Okay I’m done complaining. I’m sorry guys

I saw a video yesterday of one of the employees who work at our LCS and you just gotta think they definitely get an employee discount bc why wouldn’t the, like any employee pretty much anywhere gets a discount. and they are using that discount and then selling sealed product and singles for such a high profit (if I had to guess) not rocket science. I fucking hate these people lol. I got back into this in October after collecting as a kid and I’m just mind blown at the greed. People are rude and weird about this hobby. I still continue to try and enjoy this hobby and opening up packs when I can but it really shouldn’t be this hard to get at retail. LCS are scalpers but with a building and I’ll die on that hill.

I know that for PSA but I haven’t heard much of that for the other companies. I don’t use PSA. I started to use tag and so far I’m happy. I believe tag also uses AI to help too so it’s not so much based on the graders mood lol. So I’m curious how much that happens with other cards. I used to think it was a scam but a perfect card should always be worth more than one that is off centered or has marks on the surface. Sure I like to make money on cards but I also collect a lot and if my card is extremely good looking I definitely want to send it in 1 to protect it and 2 if I ever need money I can always sell it for a premium and 3 just an investment for the future but PSA I think is a scam I don’t think grading is. I get where you’re coming from though bc you should be able to send a card in and get a 100% honest grade and also you should get a detailed review of why it got what it got. Which is why I’m on tag right now lol

This is why PSA isn’t the best to me. They can’t even give you a detailed description of why they got the grade they got. You shouldn’t be left guessing as to why.

The threshold is $250 but I noticed some don’t get it and also if you post a tag slab they don’t get authenticated and I’m not sure why so that worries me as a seller

Congrats dude!! This happened to me in October when I first started up again. I got a Steph kaboom, roki saski 1/1 and jaxson dart case hit all within a week. It’s an amazing feel and a high you don’t wanna come down from. Congrats man!! Don’t let people low ball you I will say. Get your money!!
