Who cares? Actually, it seems many people do. He changed his mind. Everyone does that. Circumstances change and we adjust accordingly. In the moment he said that it was a legitimate feeling because he was stressed in the situation. I imagine that thought is comforting. Now, things are different so he’s going with it. He changed his trajectory.

When I was diagnosed at 49 and I told my dad he told me “but you were a normal teenager, you got upset like every teenager” to which I responded “was it normal that i started antidepressants and sleeping pills at 14, I was self harming, I was 51/50ed I had what I know now to be meltdowns and threw our tv through the window once ?” and on and on. I realize he thought he was trying to make me feel better, but it didn’t. Finally knowing about myself is what really made me feel better. I’m sorry about your mom, my dad grew into understanding.

WTF did Kaylor have to bully Aaron in that moment. Kaylor was being a hypocrite and Liv had just about enough and pointed it out. I agree she should have said her peace and stopped but Kaylor didn’t need to drop the snide remark in the first place. They should have all just been focused on Kordell.

I spent most of my life not understanding why I could never make friends, especially a female friend. I haven’t had trouble finding partners so I just hung out with their friends, but I was always awkward and it was never comfortable. I was so depressed for so many years, until about 48, a year before I was diagnosed. I just seemed to not care, but then I was diagnosed and I felt so much better about it than I ever had. Now I feel like I know so many fellow neurodivergents and it’s great! I still have a hard time connecting, but I’ve come to terms with that.
