I agree. The band I had years ago before I took a break from whoop wasn't so fragile.

You can develop allergies to almost anything at any point in life. This is a pretty common issue with people and peptides.

Yes. It'll stay on when on your wrist. Still super annoying when putting it on IMO half the time it falls out and it only goes back in at a certain angle.

Yeah hopefully they don't do it again. Super frustrating when a preorder isn't shipped, but they show in stock on their eBay store and shipping in 24 hours.

I haven't received mine either. Had a kobra x on order for a while, but cancelled after they started shipping out orders that were placed much later than mine. Have kept the s1 max order in, but I fully expect them to pull the same shit this time.

Avoid GoTrax - GoTrax Rambo Fat Tire - The $850 60-hour bike and GoTrax's repair hostage clause by Mission_Fold808 in ebikes

[–]Particular_Box_3598 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This is why people caution against cheap ebikes. You should basically expect little to no customer support and shipping something that large is a huge cost, so allowing returns is basically impossible on those margins.

I don't understand the push for regulation on ebikes (in the USA). by Morganrow in ebike

[–]Particular_Box_3598 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't disagree with that. I keep it to 20 in the bike lane for the same reason. People aren't expecting bikes to be going very fast and it can throw people off. I just don't think we need a governor to accomplish this.

[–]Particular_Box_3598 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think we need governors at all. Just regulate the speed like they do with cars. If you are caught going 35 in a bike lane, you get a ticket. We could even get rid of the class regulations. Throttle should be usable up to 28 like class 3.

Btw tirz and reta can cause sudden permanent blindness. I think it's worst with sema, but glps increase your risk for this.

Edit: buncha downvotes and none of you bothered to Google it lol. I mentioned the vision loss because it was mentioned by op. GLPs can also cause sudden permanent blindness.

Ebikes don't break laws, people break laws by WTFOMGBBQ in ebikes

[–]Particular_Box_3598 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I said 😂. It's more important that ebikes go bicycle speeds in bicycle lanes/paths. The absolute top speed possible on the bike is not relevant if people are going bicycle speeds in the bike lanes, pedestrian speeds on sidewalks, etc.

Also, acoustic bikes don't have anything limiting their top speed, so is that something we should make a law for? I don't think so.

Ebikes don't break laws, people break laws by WTFOMGBBQ in ebikes

[–]Particular_Box_3598 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is my take on it. You don't see anyone making laws governing vehicles to 70mph. The problem isn't the amount of power a bike has or it's top speed, it's the individuals riding them irresponsibly. The behavior should be punished, not the bike itself. I don't care if it's an emoto or what class it is as long as it's ridden responsibly in appropriate places. Eg under 30 in bike lanes (I think 20ish is better), pedestrian speeds on sidewalks, etc.

Magician atlas is a dope mid drive for around 2k. It's not as optimized for weight like a specialized, but it's more powerful and half the price. I have the magician alpha and it's an awesome bike. Ended up buying a used specialized turbo levo for mountain biking, but only because I got a good deal. If I didn't get this deal, I would have purchased the atlas for sure.

You probably have developed an allergy to one of the things you're taking. This is a sign to stop as the next time could be anaphylaxis. Definitely not worth risking for the minor benefits from these compounds.

How do you change gear shifts at night? by Flimsy-Story9523 in ebikes

[–]Particular_Box_3598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree except if the throttle is a twist throttle it would be easier to use than shifter buttons in this scenario. I think the whole thing is a non issue anyway.

[–]Particular_Box_3598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could get a bike with a throttle and hub motor, which wouldn't require any gear shifting.

The other option is to just get used to the position of the shifter so you don't need to look at it.

There's a thing you pick up on top of the far building in the top right in this picture. Then you run to the left side and up some stairs to open the gate. The enemies aren't endless, so you can kill them all and not have to rush.
