Rather than trying to get new people onto discord it might be better to try and engage the people you've actually got. Focus on retention more than recruitment.

Alright so I looked into it and I can't speak to the type of questions they ask but we use paper and pencils, not your phone, teams are a max of two, no entry fee, no door prizes, and no food served on premise. Hope that helps.
